Review: Let me start out by saying that this is not the first time that I have received poor customer service and terrible flowers from Bev's. We just went through this in last July with a bouqet I had to return the next day because the flowers were old and falling apart. When I complained back in July it was pulling teeth to get a refund and the person I had to deal with was beyond rude. On Friday my husband came home with flowers and the first thing I said was "I hope you didn't pay for those". He was embarrassed and said that he would start by pulling off some of the "dead" leaves that were on the pink roses. I could not believe it! I knew that he must have ordered them from Bev's because this is the same problem we had before.
I am part of a Moms group and I was not surprised to find out that others too had issues with receiving old flowers from Bevs. It is so sad to go to a florist and spend a great deal of money on flowers to have them look terrible when you receive them. Needless to say we will not be giving Bev's any business in the future, which is sad considering a decade ago that is the only place we would go!
We advised the consumer via a voice mail stating that our policy is the customer brings the flowers back in so we can look at them and either give a refund or replacement but this cant be done if we have never seen the dead flowers.
I have replace dead flowers before and currently and this has never been a problem, we always stand behind our work. Please have the person that made the purchase come in to our store and speak to the owner and we will work something out.
