We had reserved a number of rooms for an August wedding, but due to Covid, all plans changed. Rather than being decent, the hotel chose NOT to refund most of our money. I was kind (or maybe stupid) and had paid up front instead of just a deposit. They kept OVER $1,000 of our money. Was it in their cancellation policy? Yes. However, Covid brought us unusual and crazy times which were beyond our control as we were unable to travel or to have a wedding. Shame on the owners of the Bexley Bed and Breakfast for being so greedy. We would NEVER stay here due to their poor customer service. Traveler beware!
#1: We refunded the ***’s deposit in accordance with our cancellation policy.
#2: In consideration of COVID we offered the option of re-booking in one year. The ***’s declined.
#3: The wedding did occur in Columbus on the scheduled weekend. The ***’s choose to stay elsewhere for the weekend.
