Hello, I received a letter about this complaint today (12/16/16), but it looks like it is the second copyIt was addressed to one of our residents apartment numbers rather than my officeI have followed the link provided and and gave all of our proper info, so hopefully that will update accordingly [redacted] applied for an apartment at our complex on 10/25/She signed a paper stating she understands the rental requirements, which include on balance owed to any previous landlordShe paid a $application fee and signed saying she understands it is non-refundable if she is denied due to not meeting the listed qualificationsAt that time we were in contract with [redacted] Property Management for our residential screenings, but we are now self managedI entered her application to our screening process and it showed she owes a balance of $1,to [redacted] Apts where she lived from 10/01/to 2/28/The address listed for the debt matches the address on the photo ID she provided me, so I had no question the info was accurate and the debt belonged to herI informed her that she owes a balance and does not qualifyAdditionally, she has lived at her current address since 2012, which is obviously not the case and qualifies as falsifying information on her application, which will also render her app fee non-refundableThis also shows me she was attempting to hide the time she lived at [redacted] ***, which most likely means she knows she owes a balance due to an eviction or otherwiseShe stated in the complaint that she had pulled her credit report and didn't see the debt listed, which may be the case, but the debt is held with [redacted] collections and you/she can contact them at ###-###-#### to verify this informationAdditionally, when any applicant is denied, we mail them a denial letter stating a reason and information about how to obtain a free copy of the report we pulled, so she was given access to these records upon denial (assuming she receives mail at the mailing address she provided me)If you have any further questions or need additional information, I can be reached at ###-###-#### or via emailThank you!Lenora C [redacted] Property Manager Bexvie Village TownhomesA Bexvie AveColumbus, OH

Hello, I received a letter about this complaint today (12/16/16), but it looks like it is the second copy. It was addressed to one of our residents apartment numbers rather than my office. I have followed the link provided and and gave all of our proper info, so hopefully that will update...

accordingly. [redacted] applied for an apartment at our complex on 10/25/16. She signed a paper stating she understands the rental requirements, which include on balance owed to any previous landlord. She paid a $35 application fee and signed saying she understands it is non-refundable if she is denied due to not meeting the listed qualifications. At that time we were in contract with [redacted] Property Management for our residential screenings, but we are now self managed. I entered her application to our screening process and it showed she owes a balance of $1,359.00 to [redacted] Apts where she lived from 10/01/13 to 2/28/14. The address listed for the debt matches the address on the photo ID she provided me, so I had no question the info was accurate and the debt belonged to her. I informed her that she owes a balance and does not qualify. Additionally, she has lived at her current address since 2012, which is obviously not the case and qualifies as falsifying information on her application, which will also render her app fee non-refundable. This also shows me she was attempting to hide the time she lived at [redacted], which most likely means she knows she owes a balance due to an eviction or otherwise. She stated in the complaint that she had pulled her credit report and didn't see the debt listed, which may be the case, but the debt is held with [redacted] collections and you/she can contact them at ###-###-#### to verify this information. Additionally, when any applicant is denied, we mail them a denial letter stating a reason and information about how to obtain a free copy of the report we pulled, so she was given access to these records upon denial (assuming she receives mail at the mailing address she provided me). If you have any further questions or need additional information, I can be reached at ###-###-#### or via email. Thank you!Lenora C[redacted]Property Manager Bexvie Village Townhomes3409 A Bexvie AveColumbus, OH 43227
