HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! BBT took a very long time to schedule my trip and I did not get the full trip details (flight and hotel info) until a week before my departureDuring the planning process, I emailed many times to check in, often having to send multiple emails before getting a responseWith the amount of planning oversight that I ended up having to do, I might as well have planned the trip myself The day before I left on my trip I got an email from BBT that a boat cruise set up and paid for by BBT was not actually paid forI was told that the boat company would not accept a bank transfer from BBT and that BBT would issue me a refund check that week Upon arriving to my first hotel, I was informed that there was no reservation for me and that the hotel had not been paid forI had already paid BBT for my flights, hotel, and a boat cruiseI had to give the hotel my credit card and make a new reservationI immediately emailed BBT and was told soon after that the issue was resolved and my credit card would not be chargedHowever, I was charged at check out When I returned from my trip I emailed BBT about getting a refund for the boat cruise and the hotelThey told me separate times over the course of a month that the checks were already in the mailAfter the 1st time, I waited a week and called to check on the status of my refundDespite having already been told that the checks were in the mail, I was told to send BBT proof of my paymentDespite sending the documents immediately, it took more calls, a few emails, and over weeks total until I had the refund check in my possessionWhen I did finally get the refund check, it did not include the foreign transaction fees that I had incurred (fees that would have been built into the price I paid BBT) It took another week until I had my full refund Working with BBT was stressful and tainted my experience and memories of my trip I would never work with them again
