On February 17,2018 I had a appointment with Mr. James H sales rep. for a possible purchase of a new vacum cleaner, upon his arrival Mr. H brought in a platinum series cleaner he asked to see my old electrux cleaner which I brought out in the living room.I purchased the platinum series, but was having trouble getting the side kicker off the wand, he was having trouble as well.Mr. H said as I use the side kicker more often it would come off without difficulty. This did not happen I called explained my situation with the side kicker, was scheduled a appointment for Mr. H to come out on March 22,2018 The platinum series had a dimple in it which I did not do. Mr. H arrived with a spray can for vehicles which he stated works well for vacuums when they are new, he sprayed the wand and side kicker clip or nodule he said the clip for the kicker which connects to the wand was not right, I asked for a new side kicker he said he has one but it is in the bottom of a new vacuum cleaner box and he did not want to get it. He took the kicker out when he brought it back I could see he had filed at it. I paid $2,438.00 for this cleaner. I asked Mr. H if there is a vacuum like the old one I have he said yes it is a Lux Legacy I asked if he had one he went out and brought it in. I asked him why he didn`t bring this style in when he first came and seen my old epic series 2000, he said every one likes the platinum series. I requested the Lux Legacy in place of the platinum series he went outside to talk to his supervisor.I was not given credit for the first vacuum cleaner the lux legacy did not cost as much, I was not reimbursed and was charged $230.00 for a restocking fee.
