I started medicare march On 6/18/15, Beyond Medical called saying they wanted to handle my medicare needsThey had a lot of info about me including I use a CPAP We chatted about the CPAP, but I was clear that I did not need a machine An hour later, my doctor's office called, asking if I had ordered from Beyond Medical They received faxes saying I had ordered something and needed the doctor's signature to complete the order The orders were for a CPAP machine, CPAP supplies, ED vacuum erection device and ankle-foot orthosesMy doctor called the company to say I did not want the supplies I called the company with my story, talked to the manager who said he would fire the person immediately I called again to be sure nothing was sent I called the top office of medicare and reported this They were very interested I got on the Revdex.com website and was shocked at the complaints Don't deal with this company
SCAM ARTIST COMPANY!!! My mother received a phone call from someone who wanted to provide her with all kinds of "wonderful" devices to help her with her leg swelling(I have no idea how he attained my mother's medical information to start with.) He made himself sound legit, and began by stating all the devices would be free once medicare paid their partThen he wanted he to verify her Doctor and his fax numberHe continued by asking my mother for her email address, then her passwordsHe asked if she had a dog, her mother's maiden name, and a few other personal questionsMy mom, thankfully, at that point, did not comply and decided to end their conversation I called her doctor's office the next morning and they stated this happens A LOT to their patients and they personally would never verify or approve something without speaking with their patient firstUnfortunately, a lot of doctors do approve this without knowing that it was not approvedBE VIGILIANT!!!!!
AM-Med Beyond Medical USA called my husband yesterday and told him they were affiliated with our insurance They would get us the medical supplies we needed We told them we did not need any supplies Today I get a call from the Dr's office saying we ordered supplies and were we going to pay for them They are a big SCAM!
Beyond Medical or Am-Med or ADiabetes or whoever the heck they are sent my mother supplies she did not approve After one month she received a bill and found out that Medicare approved the payment This company states they have an RX from her endocrinologist which is not true They stated that she had the supplies for a month and never complained till she received the bill They will not let her return the supplies now They should not be able to do this to seniors and be able to get payment from Medicare Many seniors would not be physically or emotionally able to resolve this situation
