Made an appointment for.my daughter's nails to be done for prom. I explained on the phone exactly what I wanted. My daughter arrived on time if not early only to be told they were running behind by more than a half hour. When finally my daughter's turn arrived she showed the owner exactly what she wanted. When the owner began she lied to my daughter and tools her she had to have gel. My daughter repeatedly expressed she did not want gel. Me daughter gets her nails done every few weeks and knows exactly what she wants. The lady continued to rip off my daughter's set. Even as my daughter asked her not to. The owner not listening did exactly what she wanted and not what my daughter asked for. In the end $50 and nothing of what my daughter wanted.I did not permit what she did and was very upset. I called and the owner continued to yell, scream and cuss at me. She took advantage of a minor. The girl showed the manager/manicurist the nail art image on her phone and asked she wants it done as shown. The manager agreed and explained to her what should be done and the price. The girl then agreed to let the manicurist perform the job. Normally Pink & White full set service charge is $45 plus $5 for nail art stamp which is $50 in total. This client got $5 discount so the finally service price is $45 not $50 as we usually charge. The nails came out beautifully. The job was tedious and only can be done by highly skill and talented nail technician. It took the manicurist one hour and fifteen minutes to get the job done. We have been in business since 2007 and are well known by very many local clients. We conduct business with strong ethic in mind. We take pride in our workmanship. If the customer is not happy with the service, we are more than happy to fix the nails. We will not issue refund for the service that we already delivered. We clearly post the "Service is Non Refundable" sign next to the cashier counter. My daughter also told the tech she wanted acrylic and NOT gel.The pictures will show my daughter DID NOT receive what she asked for.My receipt will also show $50. Which includes a tip my daughter said NO to and yet they still added. Nails are beautiful if that is what you wanted , but clearly not what my daughter asked for.It took the tech so long because she was on her phone texting the whole time not because of the work on my daughters nails.When my daughter told the technician she was not satisfied the tech said sorry too late. If you read their reviews then you will find similar complaints. As for fixing my daughters nails I would NEVER allow that foul woman near my daughter again.This business is in the art of ripping off customers and taking advantage of a minor. We expect a full refund so we can go somewhere else and have the damage they have caused my daughters nails repaired. Non -Refundable does not mean you can take customers money without providing what they paid for. The pictures clearly show what was asked for and what was received. Besides the fact she wanted acrylic not gel. This company should be held accountable and refund in full.Shame on them....I will not allow this company near my daughter again after their foul behavior when we complained. Cursing, threatening and hanging up on customers is never acceptable.And by the way, they should also read the process of a Revdex.com complaint.As their response is not new from the previous, nor is this a new or different complaint. Final Business Response The client already filed the complained with Revdex.com in Sparks. We already explained the situation from our perspective. The salon is posting the service price clearly on its web site at: www.beyondnails.net/servicesThe salon manager and manicurists have been in the industry too long (18 years) to be aware of the situation and the type of work was done on the client. Both parties (the nail technician and the client) communicated and agreed what should be done and pricing prior to delivery of the service. We do not issue the refund for the service already delivered. We clearly post the sign of "Service is Non-Refundable" at the cashier counter.
