The painting of the house has not been completed! It is really quite simple, look at...

the house (see attached photos). It is not painted. There still remain 5 five gallon buckets and several one gallon paint containers with painting supplies on the property. The garage door is still not replaced, but promised to be installed. The roof repair work was not completed properly and resulted in leakage into bathroom damaging the ceiling which the company has admitted to creating, but still not repaired. Several paving tiles were damaged when roofers dragged roofing trash across the side yard and tiles were broken from the weight of the roofing materials placed on them. Window well covers that were damage in the hail have still not been replaced. Given this damage the owners have requested that an inspector certification from the city be provided to prove that the work has been completed correctly, but this has not been provided. The mortgage company refuses to release the remaining funds without independent certification that all work is completed correctly. This company has sent a bill for $40,000 to the insurance company for repairs that they were contracted to complete for $28,000. We have not seen a list from the company of actual services completed and constant lack of communication from the company frustrating. Why is it so hard to come to our house and sit down and go over the work that is in the contract and complete it! I would love for the company to come to our house and show us what work they feel they have completed. We have repeatedly sent pictures of work that needs to be done and get only promises, not completed work. Since this complaint was filed. The company has replaced the pathway lights and restarted the painting of the house, but for weeks painters keep saying they will complete the project "one day" and then they do not show. Many excuses are provide, but never completion of work. We are still waiting since November to have our work completed. As is quite clear from the pictures provided the work is not done!

I would like to apologize for the bad experience you've had with your storm damage repair and I will work hard to gain your trust again by finishing everything to your complete satisfaction.

We have completed the work for Mr. & Mrs.[redacted] and I understand they are happy with the outcome except for a few punch list items. All paint work, roof work, garage door installation and clean-up of the property have been finished.
We are actively working with Mr. and Mrs.[redacted] on a few punch list items and will finish the work based on their approval and upon their vacation return.
As to the final billing to the insurance company, we do supplement for any items missed by the adjuster and we will complete the billing with the approval of the insurance company. Once the work is complete the insurance company sends the insured their recoverable depreciation including any approved supplements along with the cost of the permit. In this case a few items were missed during the initial adjuster's inspection and we have submitted a final bill reflecting those missing items.
We have let things drag out a bit too long with this repair and we should not have taken this long to complete things. We deeply apologize and will continue to work with the[redacted]'s until they are completely satisfied.
