My son took his car to this business for an overheating issue (water pump was leaking) They installed a Timing Kit w/water pump (*** Price $225, their price $519.98) and Serpentine Belt (*** Price $30, their price $57.18) with labor $514.29, replaced antifreeze (*** Price $12.99, their price $with coolant exchange kit $56.12) with labor $and replaced valve cover gasket set (*** Price $18.29, their price $83.74) with labor $however, they did not replace the o-rings which are part of a kit so in essence they only replaced the gasket and charged a kit price Car was still overheating when my son picked it up from them They told him it that it was probably a warped headI towed car to Colorado Springs to investigate cause of overheating myself They said spark plugs were dirty (I replaced them 7,miles ago), when I pulled the plug wires to check the spark plugs I found that all four plug cavities were filled with motor oil When I removed the valve cover I found that they did not follow manufacturer's tech notice to use a bead of RTV around the entire head where the valve cover gasket makes contact with it I also found that the valve cover had been broken and gobs of RTV was used to try and seal it So much RTV was used that it was restricting the exhaust gas flow to the Exhaust Gas Recovery system I bought a replacement valve cover at a local salvage yard and installed a new valve gasket set myself (total cost $46.00) I added water to the radiator and ran the engine to operating temperature I found that the heater hoses were hot to the touch but the radiator hoses were not hot (this is a sign that the thermostat is not opening properly) I removed the thermostat and performed a stove top test (boiling water degrees and the thermostat never opened) Due to the design of the thermostat (integrated into the thermostat housing) this was a $dollar fix The car is no longer overheating They also said that all four struts and the rear sway bar links needed to be replaced (I replaced these myself 7,miles ago) My recommendation is to avoid this business
