I waited 60 days before leaving this review in case of pavement issues. I rate the final product Outstanding. The prior-military business rep Outstanding as well as the work crew. These guys worked hard and were a happy team. Lots of thumbs up between them and very pleasant. I had no cleanup to perform and the thickness exceeded the contract specs; and they redid the base in a weak area of my circle that wasn't even in the contract. Above and beyond, great value, and a sure bet.

BG Paving has ignored my numerous requests to come and repair the substandard job they did on paving my driveway.
BG Paving paved my driveway on ***. They did a good job on the front of the driveway, but in the back behind the garage the job was not done correctly. There are several large spots of rough, uneven pavement. I have called several times and the employee who managed the job has responded twice and said he would come to fix the issue. He did not show up the two times he said he would to come out to repair the pavement and now my several phone calls are not returned. I wrote a letter to BG Paving on ***, asking that they contact me and come to fix the problem with paving. I have not received any response.

Desired Outcome

I want BG Paving to fix the large rough patches of paving that were not done correctly when they paved my driveway.

Excellent job! Went above and beyond to please this customer. Would highly recommend this company.

Had driveways paved in ***,2 months ago noticed places.When first called was notified that they would contact us right away.Had to call back multiple times.Finally someone came by and said driveway would be repaired within 1 to 2 weeks.That's been over 2 weeks ago.

As of yesterday ***, the complaint with B G Paving has been resolved and no further action is needed.

The signed contract included a 2 1/2" overlay over existing asphalt. The thickest core sample taken in parking lot is 1 1/4"; the smallest is about 3/4". B&G Paving did not pave the parking lot per contract. We had cracking and discoloration within the first 6 months of this job. Mr. indicated he would come back and make repairs. We have been contacting him for over a year and continuously are pushed off or ignored.

Desired Outcome

Please come back and repair as you quoted and said you were going to do multiple times.

BG Paving came back after the complaint and thank you. they repaired the cracks left from the paving project completed 1 year ago. However the agreed upon scope of work was not completed per contract.

We did repair very small hairline cracks, added handicap Logo. We feel we have finished everything that needed to be done.

Driveway tarred and chipped ***. Problems within days - too deep gravel on steep corner impedes access to our home; impassable at times
Project completed ***. Directed to not drive on newly tarred and chipped driveway X 3 days. First time using driveway a problem with first access corner was noted; excessive gravel with no tar within the layers created a deep area on a steep corner that is difficult to ascend. Area is rutted, washboard surface, loose gravel makes descent treacherous, and vehicles struggle or cannot pass through it. Attempts to resolve: called *** and discussed, *** called and discussed, *** called and discussed, *** text, ***9 vm, *** vm and text. Mr *** has not returned returned any calls or visited for inspection or resolution. Invoice states a 12 month guarantee of the work. We notified of issues within a week and have not had any work or promise of work made to resolve this issue. Ongoing difficulty to access our property and home remain, and each week the gravel becomes more rutted, loose and impassable. It has worsened to the extent that we have eliminated deliveries and visitors to our home in order to reduce any further issues with the driveway. To access the driveway to get to our home, we have added cement blocks to our pickup truck to add weight over the wheels, and proceed in the lowest gear. For our car, we have to use excessive speed, disengage traction control and use the lowest gear in order to ascend. Several times it takes more than one attempt to pass through the affected section. We had specifically voiced concerns about the excessive gravel on the turn and depth. At the time of install to our knowledge only a rolling machine was used to press the gravel together which was ineffective, considering the loose gravel lies approximately 6-8 inches deep. Cost of the project $*** paid in full with check #*** from the *** on *** and cashed by Mr. at ***.

We would like this contractor to return to the project and review the issues. We would like him to repair the problem

Yes I had just sent an email to these folks yesterday responding to her email saying we would be out there next week to remove some of the thick rock and then they made a complaint with you guys.

The business responded AFTER the complaint was filed. We had not heard from the business prior to filing the complaint. The business owner states he made contact with us, as we have documented in updates ***, with his comment that he "would be out next week to remove" the rock. Today is Thursday *** and no one has come to make the work correction or made any additional contact to confirm that they will be "out". The business owner has not recognized that we filed a complaint before he responded and seems to believe that we filed the report after his response, which is not the case and we have attempt to explain that to him via phone and email as entered into our file. the work correction is still very much needed.

BG Paving team arrived yesterday and repaired the driveway. We were able to drive up it today and are grateful for the work that was done. Please close this complaint. Thank you

Newly paved driveway is discolored and was left with uneven patches.
Driveway repaved with asphalt on ***. That day there was an issue with one of the paver's equipment that got stuck and had to be dragged with chains across the driveway, leaving groove marks. We noticed some discoloration when the job was completed and brought it up, but the project manager/job supervisor said that "nature" (rain) would take care of it. Two days later, after quite a bit of rainfall, we again noticed the grooves and uneven spots, and the large areas of light colored streaks and lines were still there. A message with pictures was sent on *** explaining the issues. A response was received that they would come out and look at it on ***. Due to bad weather they were not able to come, but indicated they would. On *** we reachout again providing more pictures but did not receive a response. A couple of days later, two workers were sent and proceeded to work on one small uneven section. Although some of the uneven patches were repaired, the discoleration remains. Another message was sent on *** indicating that the issues were not completely addressed, and the response, received the same day, was that they would come out to address the discoloration when the weather drys up. To date we have not heard back from BG Paving to address the items they indicated they would fix.

We would like for BG Paving to fix the discoloration issue and remaining uneven patches and grooves.

Contract promises 2 seal coatings for new driveway. BG Paving has not returned many emails or phone messages. Now, both numbers cannot take messages.

We also attempted to contact Mr. via email many times and have yet to receive any reply.

Desired Outcome

We would like to have BG Paving either provide the seal coat as promised or refund the $*** that was charged for this service.

There is no problem with the contract. I called him previously before today and then again this morning to address this customer's needs. I will Seal as soon as the weather is over 45 degrees and not any wet/snow conditions.

We had this B G Paving Company to come and pave our driveway they did a good job. We call them in April to come and repair and seal our driveway. Called this company several times and were told that they would be down to repair our driveway on Friday, but never showed. Several Fridays have gone by. They were to repair and seal the driveway and we had to get someone else to seal it. We still have a bad spot in the driveway will just get worse. They are not true to their word. My husband called and there was a verbal exchange with them and they sent back a voice mail saying it would be fixed but still no show. They talk a pretty talk but just will not hold up to the warrant. We have up to Nov. on our warranty to get it fixed. They have Mexicans working for them and they came in and rushed to do the job. Do not believe any word on the answer machine Have a blessed day because down the road you want.

Finish the job We would like for them to come and repair and seal the spot where they repair. He told us that he would seal it for and repair. Since he didn't show we had to get someone else to do their job. It was in a verbal deal to come and seal the driveway and we would like to have a refund back for what they said it would be to seal. The warranty contract was in the deal.

This is bg paving I'm not responsible to pay you for your seal job you had done by another company sorry that's not my fault at all it's not in a written agreement I was to seal your driveway

Very disappointed. Driveway paved in late August 2017. It looked really good, but about 10 or 11 months later I noticed a large hump or ridge had developed. I called 4 or 5 times left a message, but no response. I do believe it is a problem with workmanship. It tells me that they do not stand by their work. Don't be fooled by the have a blessed day message! My advice is find another paver.

Customer's driveway was paved in June 2016. A one year warranty was given. One call was received from customer during the warranty period about a crack. We sent someone out to repair the crack as was stated in the complaint. We received a second call about two weeks ago regarding another crack. The warranty expired in June ***. We do good work and stand behind our work, which is why we offer a one year warranty. We stand behind our warranty, and we did. We will be glad to go out and repair the new crack, however a regular repair charge will apply.

BG paving paved a parking lot for me at one of my properties and did an amazing job. Very professional and hardworking crew.
