I recently had a new furnace and air conditioning unit installedI want to let you know how professional from sales Mr CWand installation of equipment by Mr EWI would recommend BGE Home to anyoneCwas very thorough in what I was looking for and also giving other optionsAlso communicated very well before and after the sales with some questions that arose The installation by Ewas very well explained before ,during and afterHe finished up by scheduling inspections that occurred today without a hitch I would like to tell you this was not the experience I had with other companies that I received quotes from I thank you for a great experience that went as scripted to a tee [redacted]

I have trouble with the BGE plumbing service While Jason did a good job on sinks and resetting a toilet the company sent out someone else to do an additional estimate for dropping some lines for a roughed in 1/bath We scheduled Jason to do both jobs when it came time to do the basement 1/bath they went to get the supplies, then came back and said the office tells me I need to pull a permit So then he goes back and talks to his supervisor and they come back and say we don't do this kind of work Well drywall was supposed to come in tomorrow needless to say overall I was not pleased, because none of it made any sense

As a licensed real estate agent with over years of experience I have dealt with my fair share of Home Warranty and Home Service CompaniesThis review is based on my personal experience on 1/7/where I had scheduled service on my personal home for a refrigerator that was not keeping temperature and was starting to show signs of future faiure(popping noises, had to keep temperature at max in order to achieve 4-range) Now since the "service" I have (2) interior light bulbs blown out (technician shorted something?) and the regrigerator is no longer cooling (around the 1-cooling mark) with very little (if any) fan activityMy wife called today (1/the following Monday) to find out how their "expedited" service with "overnight" part delivery will now take a week just to get the part!!! With $100's of dollars of food consisting of meats, condiments, mils and cheese products, eggs, and produce, etcone can understand how very much upset and dissappointed I am with their "services"I was better off BEFORE I called

In August I purchased in full a Hot Water Heater from BGE Home, to date I have no complaints on the equipment itself, however, I now have received a bill for an additional exactly, there is no explanation or line items, and no address where the work was done When I called to see what it was about they stated, "for additional plumbing pipes..." I did not need any additional "pipes" I actually spoke to the man who installed it on the phone and he stated "it went in smoothly" my credit card was charged over on August 25th, and we were told it was paid in full I requested an actual invoice from BGE home showing how much "Piping" was used but they have sent nothing to date The warranty for the work they did is no longer valid, and they are still able to bill me, without any explanation a year after the fact? I am currently disputing the bill, but they have not abided by any of my rights as a consumer and, again have provided no proof of any unpaid debt I want people to know that BGE home has unfair billing practices

Heat stopped working called them guy cameWorked for few hours woke up at midnight house cold again Spent all next day waiting again next guy came said first guy didn't fix it right after asking me if I had heat onWorked less than two days stopped again Third guy fixed it came home from work house cold againSo waiting for fourth guy in last six days

On Nov 2010, I paid thousands of dollars for BGE Home Products and Service to install a new HVAC System, including a humidifier, and a water heaterI chose the company because of the anticipation of service and ease in honoring warrantiesThe humidifer that was installed never worked and was replaced finally in For the past two years when having the HVAC system serviced in spring, there has been a loss of refrigerant In 2015, the technician "noticed temp diff between air enterning and leaving was only degrees" and "found to be low on R410A." I paid to have the refrigerant chargedIn 2016, the technician "Supply 64, Return 70, (degrees), Very Low" "UnA slightly undercharged, Possible leak." This is printed on BGE sticker on the face of of the indoor HVAC systemFOR SERVICE TECHNICIANS USE, THE FOLLOWING PARTS ARE COVERED FOR: Outdoor Parts (Years) - Compressor (12), Coil (10), Other Functional Parts (10) When I called BGE Home to follow up on the parts warranties, I talked to someone with no expertise and no experienceShe kept having to ask a supervisor the questions I was asking herI specifially wanted to find out about the parts that are warranteed - as sold to me by BGE HOME - and all I got was that I would have to ask the manufactuer those questionsIf I thought that it would be so hard to get BGE HOME to respond to a question about the warranty of the products the company sells and installs, I would have had a different company do the workIf BGE HOME prints on the sticker on the equipment it sells and installs that there are warranties, then someone at BGE HOME should be knowledgable about those warranties Consumers should not be faced with talking on the phone to someone reading a script and having to ask a supervisor every questionThe result of my telephone conversation with BGE HOME on April was that BGE HOME is not knowledgeable of the warranties on the equipement they use as selling points to consuerms; but is only interested in service contracts and serice charges post-installation of thousands of dollars of equipmentI do expect to pay a service charge to have the warranted equipment replaced; but first I wanted to know what equipment is covered by the warranty as stated on the BGE HOME sticker on the HVAC system installed in my home

I was using this company to replace my old water heater which was leaking
The response from them was quick and efficient, I was given a fair price and all process from the first call to the finished job took just one dayThe job was done well and accurateThank you very much for such a great service

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with BGE Home when I needed to have my sewer line replaced. They were respectful, conscientious, courteous, considerate and, on top of all that, did an excellent job!

I have written to the CEO to even let him know that while I have been a BGE Home customer for years, I had not had to (thankfully) hire them for such a big project before but will always do so and recommend to all others they do so as well!

Getting BGE Home to come and inspect your AC... It will only take them 90-days to schedule an inspection. Wait isn't that after the Summer season is done? Yes! Next time please call BGE Home for an AC Inspection in December.

Seasonal inspection should not be part of the BGE Home's sales pitch if they cannot fulfill the request in a reasonable time. I am a BGE Home customer for over 20-years.

I recently had a new furnace and air conditioning unit installed. I want to let you know how professional from sales Mr C. W. and installation of equipment by Mr E. W.. I would recommend BGE Home to anyone. C. was very thorough in what I was looking for and also giving other options. Also communicated very well before and after the sales with some questions that arose.
The installation by E. was very well explained before ,during and after. He finished up by scheduling inspections that occurred today without a hitch.
I would like to tell you this was not the experience I had with 4 other companies that I received quotes from.
I thank you for a great experience that went as scripted to a tee.
