I contacted B & H after moving into my new home which had an existing Propane/Wood Burning FirePlace and a second FirePlace on the Lower Level with a Pellet Stove Insert which I wanted cleaned and inspected. I honestly could not have been more pleased with the professionalism Tim and his Team displayed from start to finish. They showed up early or precisely on time at every appointment. They were extremely thorough in their inspections of both my FirePlaces. What I really appreciated was the time they took during the inspection, which included multiple photographs of problem areas and detailed explanations of what were some very serious safety issues!!!
At no time was I pressured into getting any service or work performed. However, Tim was very proactive in offering me a variety of options based on his recommendations. Tim discovered that my pellet stove had been improperly installed, and dangerously so. His original estimate for necessary repairs was higher than what he actually charged me once he had a chance to carefully review each item. I loved the fact that B & H did NOT use scare tactics or pressure me into purchasing anything. Tim was very candid as he prioritized and priced each different issue that needed to be addressed. He explained the benefits and drawbacks of each option carefully. When you're talking about your home and potential Fire Hazards, I don't think you can get too much sage advice.
I would and already have heartily recommended B & H to family & friends. They performed all work PRECISELY as scheduled with no surprises and treated my home with great respect ! They left it cleaner than they found it! You will not be dissapointed and trust me, you'll sleep better too.
