Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Your representative was there to do in-house estimationHe had an opportunity to check each and every itemIf he could not do his job well at estimating then that is not my problemI told him that I was not going to pack anything as I don't want that hassleHe agreed that all the packing will be done by his crew as he was trying to match the service and price the other company quotedIn fact, I provided extra hep by bringing them boxes for some items like TV as they did not have anything to pack my TVI left it to them to use those boxes or not and they ended up usingAttaching a screenshot of the text message where he agreed to match the price.Also, I discarded all the furniture of one (of two) bedroom and the major furniture items (couches) from my living room and none of them were included in the volume estimation.You should be focussing on doing your job well because that's why you are there for in-house estimationWhat kind of estimation it is which changes from cu ft to cu ft? Kindly note that customer does not have a contract with Earth RelocationThe delivery timeframe was given by email and client failed to check her emailOur trucker waited for several hours before client arranged a crew to unload the containerOur office notified the client about container waiting
charges after first hours and client acknowledged the sameShe is supposed to pay us for hours of waiting time @ $ 100/HR with total charges due of $ 300, we already gave her a discount of $ making the charges due $ She used an agent in *** to move her goods and Earth Relocation was a delivery agentAs per her agreement with the *** moving company, we quoted her for waiting charges which were her responsibility and she was supposed to pay themThis complaint is wrongly directed to us as we have no contract withj her and she should appeal this to her *** moving company whom she contracted to move her goods

Hello,Client is disputing storage charges at destinationShe has to pay as she did not clear our dies and due to non payment her shipment was kept on hold, her delaying the payment to us has created the storage costs and she was not reachable for weeks by our destination agentAlso we can offer a

I am rejecting this response because: I still do not understand why I am expected to pay this charge I didn't get the email they sent with the unilaterally changed delivery time, because their office neglected to delete large photos that were attached to the original email that I had sent to themI still believe that I can not be held accountable for this communication failureIf I do not have a contract with Earth Relocation, then it seems logical that they should follow up with *** in the *** My contract was with ***, and I assume Earth Relocation has a contract with them as well I have tried asking both of these parties to contact each other, and I will do so again

Earth Relocation scammed me by holding me to ransom since they were holding my shipment, under threat of demurrage chargesI was therefore obliged to pay them in excess of $3,against "bills" that they forwarded, but have not bothered to explain. The scam involves their associates in *** who had originally advised me that Earth Relocation would bill me about $to $

Mr *** ***, Yes we matched the price of $with another company provided the volume was same which is 700CFTAt the time of the move your volume came to CFT & we let you confirm that on the day of the moveOnly after your authorization that we moved the goods Did we ever state in any way (written in quote or email communication) that the estimate was guaranteed and we will honor the same price no matter what the volume was? If you doubted that the volume was 1200CFT did we force you to accept it? I spoke to you over phone and told you clearly that the volume is 1200CFT and you accepted it Please note (we have stated this many times in our conversation), estimate is what it is, 'an estimate' not a guaranteeFinal volume would be the deciding factor & we never hid this factLook at the quote, on the second page it clearly states “Final Volume of the shipment is subject to containerization and measurement of dims taken at the receiving terminal and additional volume will be billed @ advised rate per CFT.” We disagree with your argument, we did not put you in any difficultyIt was your volume that drove the final invoiceHowever, considering your difficulty we already reduced $in our invoice voluntarily Normally all companies will ask for payments prior to deliveryHowever in your case did we not receive payment until after goods were delivered inside your home? How did we extort you then? We are an ethical company and we only charged you what we agreed to on the contract right from the beginning

On the day of pickup you realized that the volume was a lot more than estimatedWe gave you the opportunity to eliminate goods but you decided to ship them anywaysWe do not agree that we ‘extorted’ you in any way just because you did not know what to do with your goodsRight from the beginning, you had agreed to our rates & terms and conditions and we did not accept your deposit until you were fully satisfiedI am sure you will agree. During billing, we voluntarily offered you a $discount on you bill although we did not have to do thisWe also offered you the time to pay our invoice until goods were delivered inside your homeTherefore, with our gesture we believe we treated you as our special customer because you came though referralUnfortunately it seems like you did not feel that way & we believe we should make another attempt to turn your feedback around and see what additional step we can take to settle this matter amicably.
