I was unaware of the details and dramatics that a tracking device entailed(buyer beware). There should have been an explanation of how these sky high interest rate dealings, that come with a tracking device. I was left 3 days without a vehicle. It would have been great customer service to inform your customers that the contract was being transferred and a phone number or business contact for future contractual obligations that needed to be met.I am doing my contractual part of the bargain for maintaining the vehicle I should be able to drive it.

To Whom It May Concern: Please be aware that you had to initial a total of 21 times on the GPS “tracking device” disclosure as well as sign and date at the bottom. In addition, the interest rate is clearly laid out in the Finance Contract, which you had to sign and initial as well. Express Auto Spot sees us having no fault in the issue of Ms. [redacted]’s GPS tracking device not functioning properly. In addition, we would also like to make Ms. [redacted] aware that Express Auto Spot is no longer in business. If the Revdex.com and Ms. [redacted] would like to close this complaint as “not resolved”, we are willing to accept that result.

It is still our opinion that Express Auto Spot does not have any fault in the matter. We are more than happy to provide the service records for the vehicle to stand behind our claim, that are time stamped. We would also like to make the customer aware that Express Auto Spot is no longer in business. If the Revdex.com would like to close the claim as "unresolved", we are satisfied with that course of action.

To Whom It May Concern:On 8/14/2015 Felisha R. [redacted] purchased a 2003 Oldsmobile Aurora from Express Auto Spot with 96,354 miles. Prior to sale, Express Auto Spot performs a multi-point inspection on all of its vehicles. Ms. [redacted]’s particular vehicle, required $732.65 in repairs prior to...

purchase, however most of these repairs were considered normal wear and tear items. Ms. [redacted] returned to our service department on 8/21/2015 for a tire light that came on, and an oil change light that came on. Our service department added some air to the tire, and reset the light, and reset the oil change light as the oil was changed on 8/12/2015 as part of our reconditioning process. Her statement of bringing her vehicle back the next day is a false statement. These repairs were conducted free of charge. On 9/3/2015, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in to our service department in which we replaced an oil pressure switch free of charge. On 9/17/2015, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in to our service department for a complimentary oil change. On 10/16/2015, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in to our service department for a complimentary oil change. On 10/30/2015, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in to our service department, where we replaced the following items under her 12-Month/12,000 mile warranty:TransmissionWater PumpRack and PinionMs. [redacted] was only charged her $100 deductible for the repairs performed and Express Auto Spot paid $2,402.10 in warranty claims. On 11/17/2015, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in to our service department, where we replaced a Pigtail for secondary ari-pump. This repair was performed free of charge. On 11/27/2015, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in for a complimentary oil change. On 1/27/2016, Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle in for a complimentary oil change.I personally received a call last week from Ms. [redacted]’s significant other stating that the check engine light had come on, but then turned off. He gave me the mileage off of the vehicle, which had now surpassed the 12,000 mile warranty limit. I advised him to bring it to Autozone, and have them scan to see if the vehicle had any stored codes. He later called back to say that the ONLY code that had come on was a cylinder #5 misfire. I advised him to call the number for Auto Action’s repair facility, as they are performing all of our warranty work. However, I did also advise him that since he is out of warranty, he will be responsible for the repair, should he wish to do so. As far as a voluntary surrender is concerned, that is between the lien holder on the vehicle and Ms. [redacted]. In this particular case, her lien holder is [redacted] Financial. Express Auto Spot has no affiliation nor control over how they handle their self-surrender policy. It is our opinion that Express Auto Spot has gone above and beyond for Ms. [redacted] in terms of servicing and repairing her vehicle. Brian W[redacted]Express Auto SpotGeneral Manager

To whom this may concern I am not so sure this is a concern or issue that we can resolve on our behalf and it sounds like this might be an issue for Mid-Atlantic Finance Company. I do want to say that Mr. [redacted]'s contract was sold to the finance company indicated above and...

they are now responsible for servicing this contract until it is paid in full or repossessed. We have no affiliation with Mid-Atlantic Finance Company, so Mr. [redacted] would need to get in contact with them in order to express his concerns about the balance and get this situation resolved. As to Mr. [redacted] expressing that he never received a title from Southwest Financial was true, due to the fact there was still a lien on the title. Mr. [redacted] would of only been in titled to a paper title if he would of paid off his loan contract but that was not the case. I hope this explanation was detailed enough to answer the questions or concerns and provided future guidance. Thank you,

To Whom It May Concern:[redacted] purchased a 2005 Dodge Durango with 131,135 miles from Express Auto Spot on 5/23/2015. Ms. [redacted] will be pleased to know that Auto Action, at 202 N. 19th Ave. in Phoenix, AZ is also facilitating any valid warranty claims that remain for Express Auto Spot....

However, we would like to convey to Ms. [redacted] that the Passtime device is not a covered component in our 12-Month/12,000 mile Limited Warranty. It is Ms. [redacted]’s responsibility to repair the device or replace the device as it is part of her contract when she purchased the vehicle. It is between the lien holder and Ms. [redacted] as to whether or not she can have it removed. As a courtesy, we would like to provide Ms. [redacted] with the following information to either replace or repair her device:Passtime USA [redacted]

Review: I purchased a used car in March 2014. The car has been in for repairs more than I have been able to drive it. Recently the front end has been getting progressively worse and the A/C fan stopped working. When I took it in for service they told me that the tie rods were bad and an a/c blower module was needing replaced. They then told me that it was not covered under their extended warranty that I had that covers the drive train, axels, motor, transmission etc. However the Air bag module that they had to replace two weeks prior was covered under this warranty. Needless to say two days after they "replaced" the air bag component the light came back on and stayed on. I addressed the electrical issue of when my lights are on and I use the signals the lights go off inside and outside of the car until the signal is turned off. They repeatedly tell me this is not an issue. It is a safety concern. They tell me they fix my car and they do not and tell me the repair was under warranty. However when something that needs fixed and can be easily noticed it is not covered. They have sold me a car that was previously in an accident. When I asked for the [redacted] report at the purchase they showed me a report with nothing on it. However I ran my own and found that it had been. Misrepresentation and shady salesmanship to get people to buy cars that need to be repaired constantly in order to make money for their service department.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement vehicle that is not a safety hazard for me and my children. Or I want my all my down payment and biweekly payments returned to me and the loan cancelled without negative staus on my credit report, they can have the car back.

To Whom It May Concern:

At Express Auto Spot we try and strive for the highest level of customer satisfaction, unfortunately it sounds like we missed the mark with the entirety of your transaction with us. That being said we are happy to address a majority of the concerns you have.

1. “The car has been in for repairs more that I have been able to drive it”. According to our records the vehicle has been in our shop the following dates and the following items addressed:

4/17-5/1/2014

Performed Oil Change

Hood Latch was fixed by replacing bolts on the grill and front bumper

Replaced Battery

Dash Lights dimming (Due to Low Voltage on the old battery)

5/12-5/28

Air Bag Module Replaced

Cleaned idle Idle Air Passage and Adjusted Throttle Body to address the sputter on start up

6/26-Current

Front Driver side noise and steering wheel shakes (Gave customer quote for Tie Rod Ends)

A/C fan will go off at Random (Gave quote for new A/C Control Unit)

Lights turn off when turn signal is on (Technician currently diagnosing the issue, could need a new PCM (Power Control Module)

Our understanding is that the customer has been provided a loaner car, which is free of charge, for the time the vehicle was in the service department for the 1st two instances. This last visit customer stated that she would just go and rent a vehicle. I would imagine we did not have a loaner vehicle available at the time she came in with the current issues. Please keep in mind that we do offer loaner vehicles, however we do have a limited supply on hand.

2. “[redacted] report at purchase they showed me a report with nothing on it”

We do not subscribe to [redacted] here at our dealership due to the high cost of [redacted]. We went ahead and paid for a [redacted] here at the dealership, and it showed the following:

10/6/2012 Accident reported in Arizona, Vehicle involved in rear-end collision, vehicle functional.

Although the vehicle has been in an accident, it was in a minor one. Where it states vehicle functional that means that the vehicle was able to drive away from the scene of the accident, it was not towed from the scene. We would argue that it is not uncommon for a vehicle that is 14 years old to be involved in an accident at some point in time, luckily this accident was a minor one.

3. “make money for their service department”

To date Express Auto Spot has spent $649.90 in just parts alone to address all of these concerns. The customer has paid $0, each time the vehicle has been in the service department we have waived the $100 deductible that we regularly charge per occurrence. The vast majority of these issues that we have taken care of are not even items that are covered under our Limited Powertrain Warranty.

All this being said, Mrs. [redacted] has been a very good customer of ours and we would like to continue doing business with her. We would like to propose that we handle the current issues with the vehicle at again, zero expense to her. We would also like to provide her with a loaner vehicle or reimburse her for a rental vehicle if she went and rented one on June 26th.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Express Auto Spot has never offered me a loaner vehicle I have had to rent a vehicle out of my own pocket each time the car was in for service. All repairs are listed under their 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. I picked up my car on Thursday July 10th. They advised me that the A/C control module had been replaced and they were unaware of any tie rod issue. They stated that they must have called the wrong customer. They advised me that they changed the oil and balanced the tires. They said that they could not find anything wrong with the car. The electrical issue could not be found. On Friday July 11th I drove the car to work and again had the lights on the car completely go off when I used my signal. On Saturday July 12th I went to drive the car and the A/C again did not work. The fan etc is completely dead. They did not fix the problem. The air bag module they said they fixed on May 12th was not fixed either as the air bag light is still on. They do not fix any of the problems that have been stated. The car is an overall safety hazard and should never have been sold. Express auto spot never reimbursed me for my rental car cost at anytime. I have spent not only over $300 a month in car payments for a car that is never drivable but also have paid close to $600 for rental vehicles to get me back and forth to work while they pretended to fix this car. I will be returning to Express Auto Spot on Monday July 14th. If concerns are not addressed I will pursue legal actions.

Regards,

Business

Response:

As I stated in the 1st response I am more than happy to reimburse you for the cost of the loaner vehicle the last time it was here in our Service Center. I never received a receipt to reimburse you for your expense, however I am still more than happy to do so as long as you can provide me with a receipt.

All Repairs are NOT listed under the 12month/12,000 mile warranty. Our Warranty clearly states the following covered components are listed in regard to the A/C:

“Compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, receiver drier, blower motor and hot water valve”

However, we did replace the A/C Control Switch at no cost to you. If this switch that we installed is currently not working we are more than happy to replace it again.

The Airbag module is NOT a covered item on the extended warranty. However, there is a manufacturer recall on your vehicle for this component, and can be replaced free of charge at a Hyundai dealership. The covered Electrical items on the warranty are as follows:

“Alternator and Starter”

Please also keep in mind that the warranty also has a $100 deductible per occurrence, it is my understanding that we have waived that for you each of your visits.

Let me reiterate I am more than happy to address your concerns with your vehicle, and try and turn your negative experience into a positive one. It may be easier for you to contact me directly so that we can expedite this process. Please feel free to call me anytime at my direct extension.

Express Auto Spot

On May 1,2014 I regretfully purchased a 2002 white Pontiac Bonneville with 76,382 miles from Express Auto Spot. I spent more time in a loaner vehicle that the dealership supplied me with than my actual vehicle I purchased. As of July 26, 2014 my vehicle is waiting in line for a another engine tear down at there service center due my vehicle overheating again. I don't have confidence in there certified technicians that they will supply me with a reliable, mechanically sound vehicle since this will be the second engine tear down performed on my vehicle. This is definitely a hard learning experience for me as a first time car buyer from a dealership and you can bet your bottom dollar I won't make the same mistakes next time around.

Review: Since I have bought the car in October of 2014, I thought that all the payments that I was making was being reported to my credit. I have been to 4 Major car dealerships and all 4 of the dealerships are not finding anything in my credit report about the "Auto Loan" I have from Southwest Financial. I called and asked them about that, they told me that I could come in and they would sow me where it is reporting, but I live close to 24 miles from the dealership. One place had called to talk to see when or if they will be reporting to the [redacted]. They then told him that it is on Transunion. The proceeded to transfer him to "Southwest Financial" only to end up talking to the same guy [redacted] once again. But only this time they told him it was on being reported on [redacted]. The guy at the dealership that pulled my credit, had asked to speak to someone above him, the guy [redacted] told him to hold on while he transferred. Then it line rang and they just hung up. So he proceeded to call them back and there was no answer. I went in on 3/24/2015 and they should me that it was reporting on my credit at Express Auto Spot Under the name Southwest Financial. However I went to see the salesman at a Volkswagen dealership and he pulled all 3 reports and found nothing on all of them. He also showed me the reports and also showed me that Express Auto Spot never pulled my credit report. The last person that pulled my credit was a professional dealership that I went to, and they told me that there is nothing on my credit Report. I am tired of paying for this cart that is not even reflecting on my credit. Also the guy who runs the place is very rude and disrespectful. Yelling, swearing , and threatening a woman in front of me and 7 other customers. I did not want to say anything to him because of the fact that I wanted to get my car serviced. My car I bought from them is worth $3,200 on [redacted] and that is the max and that is when the car is in its best condition. I must pay over $9,000 for this car. And with financing it goes up to almost $14,500. with just under 30% apr.Desired Settlement: I want them to either report all the payments to an actual credit bureau or hand the title to the car over without any type of payments I have to make.

Business

Response:

Southwest Financial LLC reports accounts on a monthly basis to [redacted] which is one of the three major credit reporting agencies. The account for [redacted] (account [redacted]) with Southwest Financial was opened on 10/31/2014 and has been reported to [redacted] each subsequent month as documented in the attachment. In prior cases where customers stated that their accounts were not reporting we sent notification to [redacted] and received confirmation that the accounts were in fact reporting. Southwest Financial does show up on [redacted] report under "SW Finance" and Express Auto Spot did pull his [redacted] credit report, with his consent, prior to purchasing the vehicle on 10/30/2014.

Review: One reason I chose express auto spot was because of the initial customer service I received and they assured me I would be taken care of. All that went out the door once I left. Within my first month my vehicle overheated on the way to work . A band aid fix was put on it so then it started to overheat after my 30 days so they tried to charge me a deductible on my warranty even though it was the same problem that wasn't fixed the first time. They kept my car and failed to explain the constant delays in me getting my car back. They promised my days that it would be fixed and always failed to come through. I again had a car with my car and for the past month and a half not only has my car not been fixed under warranty but I have been givin nothing but excuses for the lack of urgency and customer service. Their employees cannot get straight who is actually in charge of who and people stories are always different. Again I was made promises that they were not able to come through on. After all this time of waiting for my entitled repair my car broke down and I was blamed. No compassion was shown for me it what I've gone through. They won't even return a phone call or take the time to update a phone number. I've even had someone on the phone pretending to be the owner and making faulty promises that they had no authority to make . I have been more than patient. I understand that cars eventually need repairs but the lack of customer service and the shady behavior that I have been through after paying on time for all these months has been mind blowing.Desired Settlement: I think the fair thing to do would be to at least give me my down payment back. Because at this point I do not feel safe continuing a relationship with this company because of what they have shown me so far. It's bad enough now I will have to start over with a new loan with another company but I am unable to come up with another down payment since I didn't expect to need one at this point .

Response:

We at Express Auto Spot strive to maintain an unprecedented level of customer satisfaction in the Used Car industry. Mrs. [redacted] purchased her vehicle from us nine months ago and has had a few issues with her vehicle along the way. Unfortunately, we are in the business of selling used cars that can be 10-15 years old. This is why we offer a 12-month/12,000 mile warranty on every vehicle we sell. In addition to the warranty we also offer free loaner vehicles to our service customers whose vehicles will require more than 3-days to repair. Mrs. [redacted] has been in a loaner vehicle since her vehicle broke down this last time. Again, dealing with vehicles this old, can make locating replacement parts challenging at times and we have to resort to locating used parts if a new replacement part is no longer available from any of our parts distributors.

That being said, we would like to offer Mrs. [redacted] her $1,000 down payment in exchange for our loaner vehicle. Mrs. [redacted] has made all of her payments as asked, and we would like to make her completely satisfied.

Not the best place for purchasing a vehicle, too much problems with the vehicle I purchased and service department is not friendly at all. I don't understand how they can be in business when these cars are no good and need lots of maintenance. If you try scheduling service the most wait time is 3 weeks. One thing they are on top of is the payments.

never buying from this place again . the car I got it has transmission problems since the beginning , I took the car 3 times to get fix , and every time I took the car I was with out it up to 3 weeks ,,took it a 4th time and now the say it was the mounts and I know is not that , u can feel the lost of power and the lag of the transmission going into gear , I took it to a independent mecanic and he says it has nothing to do with the mounts ,,,now my guaranty is about to be done and still not fix , I try to talk to a manger and they send me to a sales lady I told her fix the car or give another one and she told I can get another one but I have to pay 1000 dollars if I want to that . and that's bs . I already give 2500 is not my fault they have crappy [redacted] mecanics ,,,now im just tire of taking the car and not getting fix and now they trying to charge me 120 for mounts my car does not need .. I regret buying from them so bad .. now im stuck with this piece of crap car ......seriously if ur desperate to buy a car like I was calm down think twice and wait till u gave the money or the credit to go to a real dealer ship dont be stuck paying around 17000 in 3 years .. thats the price of a new car ... DONT BUY FROM HERE ... IF U GET A BAD CAR UR STUCK THEY WONT FIX IT RIGHT

Review: I Purchased a vehicle from express auto spot in April 15. I was told by salesman mr. [redacted] at that time that if I ever referred anyone to purchase a vehicle from express that I would receive a $200 referral bonus. After my brother purchased his vehicle from express in June 15, I was promised that bonus. I spoke with mr. [redacted] in July 15 and he's stated the check was sent out in June of 2015. I explained I never received a check and asked if it was cashed so I could start a fraud complaint. He couldn't tell me.Desired Settlement: Simple, either reissue a check or provide proof it was cashed.

Response:

BHPH MOTORS has received the consumer complaint referenced above and would like to respond to the allegations.Mr. [redacted] complaint is without merit, he indeed is entitled to a referral bonus of $100.00 not $200.00 pursuant to our bonus structure at BHPH MOTORS. Check number 1990 was processed on May 30th, 2015 but Mr. [redacted] has yet to pick up his referral bonus from us. Mr. [redacted] has been contacted and informed that his check is awaiting pick up. Review: My 2004 Chrysler Pacifica was overheating I had a mechanic look at it. He told me it was the water pump and timing belt so because I didnt have the money to pay in full I took it back to the dealer for repairs and a financed payment plan. My car was in the shop a little over a month. I picked my "repaired" car up and broke down minutes away from the lot. It overheated started smoking and fluid was pouring out from the bottom. Im not sure but a new engine should have fixed this problem. They now have my car again and im really afraid that the issue is not going to be fixed and my $3000.00 bill will increase.Desired Settlement: I just want my car repaired for the issue I took it in for.

Response:

To whom it may concern,BHPH MOTORS has received the consumer complaint referenced bove nd would like to respond to the allegations.1.
