work met the quality standards of our company, a timely work plan was required to do so. Specifically, this automobile needed frame, body, and mechanical repairs.The customer was made aware throughout the process of all issues related to completing repairs on this vehicle, and subsequently its ongoing status. Our Service Manager has been in constant contact with the owner of the vehicle. As a result, our projected completion date is September 2.5, 2015; at that time this automobile will be ready for delivery back to customer.You will note from our 17 year record as a member of the Revdex.com we have maintained a positive reputation within the community we serve. It is our intent to maintain a reputation for providing quality service and value to our customers.Respectfully,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I received a quote for services, and the shop allowed me to make payments until the total amount was paid.  While I appreciate this, this is no reason for the repairs not to be completed.My final payment was tendered on May 3, 2015.  It is now September 3, 2015 and the repairs have not been completed yet.  This has been four months, and no progress has been made.  The company has stated the project completion date is September 25, 2015.  This would be approximately five months for the repairs to take place.  However, the shop has previously given me completion dates only to have them pass.The business has stated that I have been made aware throughout the process of all issues and has been in constant contact with me.  This is not true.  The Service Manager does not contact me, rather I must called him repeatedly before I get an answer from him.  His answer is always the same, “I’ll try to get it done as soon as I can”.  No other information has been conveyed to me, outside of the above-mentioned promise that they made to have the car ready before my daughter left for school.Periodically, I would drive past the location after May 3, only to see the vehicle located in the same place, having no work done to it.  Furthermore, I would drive past the location, see my vehicle sitting in the same spot and call the Service Manager.  The service manager would respond they are working on the vehicle at that time, not knowing I had drove by and saw no work being done.While the Service Manager says there is extensive work to be done, I have spoken with other auto repair companies, explained the level of work required, and they all have told me that there is no way it should take over four months.  That the only way it would take this long is if they were not working on the vehicle.On one occasion, I contacted the shop and spoke with an employee named ‘John’.  He informed me that there shop does not do frame work, that they refer customers or use a different shop located near them.  Subsequently, I had someone call and pose as a prospective customer.  I had them explain the work they needed done, specifically frame work and this person was informed they do not do frame work.This same employee, ‘John’, also informed me that he does not know the status of the car, that none of the employees were working on the vehicle.  He informed me that only the Service Manager, John, knows the status of the car.  It should also be noted that while the ownership lists the owners’ name something else, that the Service Manager is actually a co-owner, and it is a family business.To date, the Service Manager has not called me and gave me any real timeframe or information.  As stated above, the only information I receive is when I call the company myself, and only informed “I’ll try to get it done as soon as I can’.  Deadlines have been passed with no explanation.As I stated above, timeframes from Black Forest are not believable.  Completion dates they give are not believable.  I was given assurances, only to have those assurance not met.  I feel as if Black Forest is taking advantage of me and have no intention of meeting this date.  I feel if I were male, I would not be having these issues and my vehicle would have been repaired and not have taken four months to date with nothing being completed.The only acceptable outcome to me is either have the vehicle completely repaired and all repairs verified by an independent company that has no relationship with them, or to return 100% of the monies paid and allow me to take my vehicle to another shop that will have my car ready in a timely fashion.  This company has shown no real evidence of being able to complete the work successfully.To this, even if another repair company will not be able to have the car ready until the date Black Forest has given, I feel that any repairs done by this company will not be acceptable.  I feel that because of this claim, the work will not be done correctly.I understand that Black Forest Motors that, quoting them “You will note from our 17 year record as a member of the Revdex.com we have maintained a positive reputation within the community we serve. It is our intent to maintain a reputation for providing quality service and value to our customers.”, in this case this is a negative experience and as I am a member of said community, do not feel that are providing quality service.
