on January 1, 2020, my cousin and I went to the store to purchase 2 jade pendants. We asked to buy 2 18K gold pendant specifically because my cousin has reaction to medal mixs in 14K or 10K gold. The saleman gave us a tray of pendants and told us they are all 18K gold jade pendants. There are no tags on any of the pendants. So we believed what he said. We then picked out 2 and paid for them. The saleman said thank you and fold the receipt, put it in the bag.
The next day, my friend - who is a jeweler, saw my pendants and took a look. He told me that they are not 18K gold but rather 14K and 10K gold. I could not believed and when to the lab to have them tested. They turn out to be 14K gold and 10K gold jade pendants.
on1/3/2020, my cousin and her husband went back to ask for return and refund of the pendants. The saleman said that if the take a look at the receipt, it said no return only exchange. We were not made aware of this. her husband asked to speak to the owner, the saleman - Lary said that he is out of town and does not know when he will be back. My cousin ask the saleman for another receipt that is more readable. He proceed to write on a piece of paper the description of the pendants. Her husband leave the phone number and asked Lary to relay the info to the owner to give him a call. We have not heard from the owner since.
on 1/14/2020 I went to the store to ask for return and refund.I asked Lary that he didn't tell me about no refund policy. He said that I should look at the receipt, which he quickly fold and put in the bag without me looking at it. I told Lary that I would like to exchange for 1 tale of gold. He told me that it will cost $3000. I told him that other american gold store only sell it for $1950. He said that if I want to exchange, that is the only condition that he would accept the pendants and exchange for the gold.
I realized that he will add the price of the pendants into any item I want to exchange so I won't be able to return items.

To whom this may concern,
I believe the customer is making false claims in order to slander my company due to her own regret inher decision to buy the jewelry pieces referenced in her complaint. I have provided evidence, which arelabeled Exhibit A (the letter to the Bank of America's Merchant Services}, Exhibit B (her claim to thecredit card company to dispute the charge}, Exhibit C (the reverse of chargeback to my company bankaccount), Exhibit D (the appraisal papers from another jewelry professional, obtained by the customer).
I would like to point out that the customer's claims are completely different from the story that sheprovided to the credit card company (Exhibit B). She claims that she had tried to buy a piece of goldfrom me for $3,000.00, and had it appraised by an "American store" which was never mentioned in thecomplaint to the credit card company. Exhibit D reveals that she did go to an appraiser for the goldpieces she acquired from me, and the appraiser's appointed value also proves that her claims of the goldpieces being "fake" are simply untrue- as the appraiser verifies the karat quality of the gold and theauthenticity of the jade pieces. Exhibit D also reveals that she did not have the "$3,000.00 gold piece"appraised by this "American store" she speaks of in her complaint letter to the Revdex.com. She also nevermentions anything regarding the alleged allergies to 10kt and 14kt gold, and it is proven in her signedreceipts that she consented to buying a 14kt piece. Her lie also includes a claim of putting in a specificorder for the pieces in Exhibit B- which defaces her allegations of her cousin having an allergy to "10ktand 14kt metals.
There are many more claims in this complaint letter to the Revdex.com that don't align with her original claim tothe credit card company, including lies involving another store worker telling her that told her that I wasout of town and was not returning. All of her claims have been proven to be fraudulent, given thereversal of the dispute from the bank (Exhibit C), and the other exhibits I have provided, and any furtherphoto/video evidence from surveillance cameras in my own establishment. Please refer to Exhibit A fora full explanation of what actually occurred in response to her original complaint to the credit cardcompany in Exhibit B.
Based on all the evidence provided, I believe there is more than enough reason to believe that thecustomer filed this complaint with the Revdex.com in order to get revenge or restitution. I was not willing to goagainst my policy to satisfy her attempt at a regretful purchase exchange, nor was I going to let thecredit card company take the money back from my bank account for her dispute, so now she is filing thisclaim with the Revdex.com in order to slander my business. I hope the claim made by this customer will not beused to lower the rating of my business on the Revdex.com.I firmly apologize for the late response due to the delay in mailing from the current situation withCOVID-19 shutting down non-essential businesses in Washington State, which was enforced by theWashington State governor, Jay l***. Due to that obstacle, my business had been shuttered for thepast few weeks, and I was not made aware of this notice until! drove out to my business to go check themail. I hope this letter helps explain my side of the story, and please reach out to me if you have anyother questions, or need more evidence on my behalf in order for me to support my claim.
