Review: I paid $70 to have new tires and tubes mounted on my bike. I followed the instructions printed on the tires and inflated the tube to the prescribed pressure. The tube popped before I got close. When I returned to the shop they tried to blame the installation. When I told them I agreed because they installed the tire and tube they tried to blame a damaged spoke. When I asked them to show it to me they could not because there was no damaged spoke. Their next tactic was to claim that I should not have inflated it so much. I told them that the instructions were printed on the tire. They started to claim that it was not their tire but I had to remind them that it was.Desired Settlement: The cost of the tube and the installation. $6.99 + 5.00 + 1.05(tax)= $13.04

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
As the provided image clearly shows, the tire which they chose and mounted on the bike clearly instructs the tires to be inflated to 100 PSI. I was given no other instructions. If these tubes could not support the pressure it is negligence on their part that they were used. I am not a mind reader. I am not at fault.
Sincerely,
Business
