Went to the Bicycle Habitat on Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn today I asked the sales person if they could put a second mirror on my front handlebars He said sure and said it would be $or $dollars and $labor I said last time I got my mirror put on it was $ He said he would look it up and it was $ On my way out of the store I saw some cool T-shirts, tried them on and went to the register to buy one I gave the same sales person a $bill and he pressed some buttons on the register and said that was exact cost of the shirt I said that the sign by the T-shirts said $and he said yeah, I see and he said he would charge me the sign price even though he said the shirts were $
I found all of the above strange and felt that I was being deliberately overcharged It seems too coincidental for two overcharges in the span of a half hour It left me a bit sickened at the experience
