[redacted] , Thank you for your inquiry We have thoroughly researched this matter Your account was originally not identified because: 1) You were using a different email address than is on your account 2) You emailed Bid4Assets “On Jan 25th, there was $ charged to my debit card from your siteI have no account with you and have no idea what it could bePlease refund that amount.” We have identified your account and see that you were charged a $ non-performance fee for winning, but not paying for, auction You did, of course, agree at the time you bid to pay this fee if you won the auction but did not complete the sale [redacted] You say in your desired outcome that you would like “$refund OR the item that I paid for” The seller reported that you did NOT pay for this item, which is what prompted the $ fee You are clearly stating that you did in fact pay for it If you’ll simply attach proof of payment that you made to the seller to purchase this property, we will verify and then return your $non-performance fee Best Regards, Bid4Assets Client Services [email protected] [redacted]

Lousy customer service and borderline-fraudulent operationsThese guys should not be allowed to touch anyone's money, let alone be in the real estate businessI sent an e-mail and called three times asking if I could participate in a tax auctionNo responseAfter attempting to call them times I finally reach someone who was rude and unhelpfulHe said he couldn't provide any guarantees, but that I should send the money over right away???!!! Also, the customer service rep didn't tell me his name at the beginning of the call, I had to specifically ask (A***)Overall terrible experienceC [redacted] legislatures: kick these guys to the curb and run your own tax auctionsThese guys are ripping off the consumers from right under your noses

[redacted] , size="3">Thank you for your inquiry We have thoroughly researched this matter Your account was originally not identified because: 1) You were using a different email address than is on your account 2) You emailed Bid4Assets “On Jan 25th, there was $ charged to my debit card from your siteI have no account with you and have no idea what it could bePlease refund that amount.” We have identified your account and see that you were charged a $ non-performance fee for winning, but not paying for, auction You did, of course, agree at the time you bid to pay this fee if you won the auction but did not complete the sale [redacted] You say in your desired outcome that you would like “$refund OR the item that I paid for” The seller reported that you did NOT pay for this item, which is what prompted the $ fee You are clearly stating that you did in fact pay for it If you’ll simply attach proof of payment that you made to the seller to purchase this property, we will verify and then return your $non-performance fee Best Regards, Bid4Assets Client Services [email protected] [redacted]

Hi [redacted] ,You have numerous complaints in this message, so let's try to tackle these in an organized way:1) Per Bid4Assets terms of service, if a buyer wins an auction and does not complete a sale, their account is placed on hold If a buyer did pay for that property, this would prompt them to send us proof of payment Your account was not placed on hold in regards to any of the auctions you highlight below It was placed on hold because you were reported as not having performed on the sales of [redacted] ***, EVANSVILLE, IN [redacted] and [redacted] CLIFTON FORGE, VA *** If the seller incorrectly reported you, please forward proof of payment to [email protected] and we will promptly work to get you reinstated2) You make numerous claims with regards to fraud, illegal activity, and bias, though we're still not clear what you're specifically referring to You state that "The sellers did not take care of outstanding liens& debts on those properties before transferring ownership as written email promises" For all of the auctions you list below, the terms of those auction specifically state "Seller will deliver property via quitclaim deed with title, subject to any back taxes, outstanding liens, or back HOA/POA duesPlease research the property and its title BEFORE you bid!" If you have evidence that the seller chose to waive those terms and promise you clear title on these properties, please send that evidence to [email protected] so that we may investigate.3) Your final request is for us to return your money You realize of course, that we don't have, nor have we ever had, your money We operate an online auction site, with a similar model as *** The seller lists the auction and the buyer bids if they are prepared to abide by the terms in the auction If you have evidence that the seller misrepresented the properties in the auction or in some way did not abide by the terms in the auction, please email us your evidence so that we may investigate If we find that a seller is misrepresenting assets or not following the auction's terms, we would suspend them from the site, but we have no way of forcing an unrelated company to refund you for properties. Please email us your supporting evidence on these claims so that we can review It's difficult for us to take any sort of action with these generalized complaints.Regards,Bid4Assets Client [email protected]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted] ***

[redacted] ,There are parts to your complaint. The first deals with not being able to sell your property We brought to your attention that your property had thousands of dollars worth of back taxes and would soon be heading for tax foreclosure and you chose not to disclose that to buyers Selling on Bid4Assets is a privilege, not a guarantee, and we elected not to allow you to continue selling on our platform Our terms of service give us the authority to choose who sells at our discretion. The second issue is the $listing fee refund Our head of accounting once again confirmed that on 1/16/17, your mastercard ending in had a $refund issued Please check your credit card statement for January 16-looking for a $credit If you claim it is not there, please send a copy of your CC statement for that date range to our customer service team and we will mail you a $check.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

Hello [redacted] ,Thank you for the info We were able to get a copy of your deed from the seller, as well as evidence that their mail to you bounced back as undeliverable We are attaching both documents (which as you know we recently sent you).Bid4Assets does not favor buyers or sellers, we remain a neutral third party that holds both parties subject to enforcing the terms of the auction The seller has acknowledged that you paid and has provided evidence that deed work is in process We are sorry to hear settlement has not gone smoothly, but the evidence supports that there were a few glitches in the deed recording rather than fraud or unlawful activity. Please keep us updated on the process and let us know if there's anything more we can do to help.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

[redacted] , We received the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com I have researched the matter thoroughly There are numerous inaccuracies in your complaint For an account to be able to bid, you have to complete the registration process and click on an activation link that goes out in an automated email You cannot bid during the registration process, but you can register, receive an activation email, click the activation link, and then bid on an auction, which we can see from your click history is exactly what you did Furthermore, clicking the back button cannot trigger a bid Simply entering a bid and accidentally hitting the “enter” key also cannot trigger a bid When a user bids on Bid4Assets, you have to click off checkboxes and reenter your password This prevents users from accidentally clicking a wrong key and placing a bid on the many public auctions we conduct for county, state, and the federal government Since this was a private sector auction, you also entered your credit card when you placed your bid Our registration process is free and does not capture a credit card, you only could enter your credit card in the process of placing your bid We also have your correspondence with the seller It does not appear he said anything about your bid being erroneous, he simply said he is the seller and cannot cancel a bid, which is true (a bid on Bid4Assets is a legally binding contract and cannot be canceled) Your final complaint is that you placed this bid on a weekend when our company is closed and does not provide live customer service A bid is a legally binding contract and cannot be canceled, so it was not the lack of customer service that affected the outcome of the auction Had you placed this bid during business hours and called in, you would have been instructed that a bid on Bid4Assets is a legally binding contract and cannot be canceled We’re sorry this has caused you emotional distress Your having placed a bid on an auction and then winning that auction and not paying adversely impacted both the seller and Bid4Assets That’s why we have these fees to deter this sort of activity If you would like to purchase a comparable $property (plus any fees outlined in the auction) from the seller, we would be happy to reinstate your account and refund the $ If you can provide a screenshot of where you were able to enter your credit card in the registration process and not while you were in the process of placing a bid, we will immediately refund your $ Regards, Bid4Assets Client Services

[redacted] I am an executive of Bid4Assets and have reviewed your account and communication history. The details of your case are simple. You placed a bid on a property that was being sold via [redacted] ***, subject to liens and back taxes. When you... bid, you entered your credit card and agreed that if you won the auction and did not complete the sale, you would pay a $250 fee for non-performance. You clicked that you agreed to those terms, placed your bid, then did your due diligence after the fact and decided the property was too delinquent and you planned to default. You won the auction and defaulted, hence, Bid4Assets charged your card the $250 fee. Much more disturbing to me is what I'm seeing after that. You notified our customer service team that you were coming to Bid4Assets to harm employees even if "I may to serve prison time". You made anti-Semitic comments about Jews and threatened harsher actions "against non-Christians". Consider yourself on notice, next threat will result in our turning this over to our attorneys, who reserve the right to take appropriate action with law enforcement. You threaten numerous times to sue us. If you feel that Bid4Assets has "scammed" you, that's what I would suggest. I have heard nothing from you to suggest that Bid4Assets has done anything wrong. Bid4Assets enforced the terms that you agreed to. You defaulted on your obligations and threatened my staff with violence. Bid4Assets

Hi [redacted] ,Thank you for your message We had been unable to locate your deposit, as you did not follow Bid4Assets' deposit instructions and deposit the funds into our escrow account We have located your payment and sent out a refund check today You should receive it by Monday.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:First of all, this company is telling me that I CANNOT SELL THE PROPERTYThat is not trueSecondly, I have had several offers on the home each of them knowing that THE PRICE IS REDUCED TO ACCOUNT FOR THAT BILL AS WAS THE BUYERS FEE WHICH WAS ALSO FORFEIT ON THE BID ASSETS SITE TO ACCOUNT FOR THAT BILL TO THE TUNE OF $2500+THE COST OF THE TAXES WAS REMOVED FROM THE PRICE AND THE AUCTION FEEThis home has over more times the value in equity than the property taxes, (that are INcorrect), and that this company is being egregiously pessimistic and obsessive aboutSecondly, If the company had ever told me that my ad was unacceptable, and also since I am not an employee with this company, I had no other knowledge beyond what I was told, and I was advertising the home for months, saying DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE and AS IS, and that was after several approvalsThe day I was told was the day I sold my van and that was a day or before the auction was due to expireThis was also after I felt that I had been MISTREATEDIf the company had backed off after notifying me and without what I perceive to be OVERLY CONTROLLING behavior, telling me I CAN'T SELL and then cutting me off WITHOUT ANOTHER WORD; If they had given me a cooling off period to think about how I may alter the ad to appease their concerns or to ask about some other language that I could have used - and which is NOT NUMERICALLY SPECIFIC in 99% of the other ads on this site - houses that are advertised for $and 'do your due diligence.' I have been reading the ads and doing my own due diligence on this site with purchases for yearsPerhaps the company is changing their business model into something more like the " [redacted] ." Which is fineBut you have to know that redlining and such is illegal and carries fines and penalties of around $10,It was also about the same day Ben Carson was chosen for HUD and I mentioned the blackened pictures that were sent back to meI think that the company has over-shot this incident and I feel discriminated againstYou can't approve someone several times and then kick them out if they would like to step away and think or change their mindIf they want to run a boutique fine, but it is still against the law to be prejudiced in this way saying, 'we just don't want her,'and I really think that the counties should choose a different company for tax sales IMMEDIATELY I did find the $refundThank you Regards, [redacted]
