I received your complaint letter dated April 24, regarding our customer, [redacted] She is correct in stating that $was mistakenly deposited into her account when the error was subsequently discovered the funds were taken out of the account so they could be deposited to the account of the rightful ownerIn the interim, Ms [redacted] made several cash withdrawals and wrote several checks against the funds that she had not deposited in the accountWhen the erroneous deposit was discovered and corrected out staff immediately began placing daily calls to the phone numbers on fileApparently those numbers were no longer in service and Ms [redacted] had not provided the bank with her current phone numberAfter several days of futile effort to reach her by phone a letter was sentWhen the [redacted] received the letter they came to the BankBank staff explained the mistake deposit and the funds had been taken from their accountThe [redacted] became enraged, swearing loudly at Staff and leaving the staff member concerned about their own safetyThe bottom line is that the [redacted] spent money which did not belong to them, then became angry at the Bank when those funds were redirected to the rightful ownerYou are welcome to call if you wish to discuss this further
To Whom it May Concern, I have contacted the customer directly The customer has not maintained their account in the manner prescribed in our account agreement and was levied a fee as a result In the past, fees were waived but as this problem has persisted, no fee waivers will be provided in the future The customer was made aware of this previously and has been reminded of it today
