Review: BidKind is a charity auction website, in which you purchase bids and then try outbidding others in order to win the opportunity to attend events. I recently on 1/**/15 has according to the BidKind website had won an auction I was bidding on for two tickets to see Fleetwood Mac front row at the [redacted]. I contacted BidKind to ask what the next steps process would be and what they recommend I do next. I was told congratulations you 'are the winner' and that they tickets and the invoice will be sent via email by the end of the day. So during this time I went and booked a trip to [redacted] as I am from the [redacted] area. Everything seemed all good to go until approx. [redacted] central time rolled around, and I started to receive an influx of emails from BidKind now stating they don't know what happened but it seems someone else may have won the auction and they don't know how or why. But their tech team was working on it and I would hear back soon. Well soon turned into the weekend and no one reached out to me, so I left my flight and hotel booking the same. This morning 1/**/15 I received an email stating:

"Good morning [redacted],

We had our tech team look into this issue very carefully and saw that your final bids never went through and that everything seemed to have worked normally. The system shows you as just behind the actual winner by mili seconds. We will however, refund you all the bids you have spent and will offer you $100 worth of bids for upcoming auctions. I will be in touch with you shortly.

Thank you for your understanding.

This is not possible you see because with BidKind when a bidder bids, 30 seconds is added to the timer so that way they can get the most amount of bids for the auction therefore making the most amount of money for the charity. I was the final bid that showed on the website when it said auction ended. I was the winning bidder on their end when we started communication. PLUS they have a system where you can lock in automatic bids so when anyone else bids the system bids for you therefore automatically keeping you in the running so the time doesn't run out on you. I had at the end 67 bids left in the automatic bidding process (they call it bid-o-rama) So if someone would have bid after me then it would have put a bid in for me it wouldn't have let the time run out.

There are clearly glitches in their system, and yet I shouldn't be the one who now is going to [redacted] with no reason... I am out thousands of dollars worth of travel, plus hundreds of dollars worth of bids I placed to win this auction.

Please note although the purchase price will reflect it was 4.85 each bid cost approx. 50 cents to make. So I used over 150 bids myself $75 and it ends at 485 bids total. The winner goes on to then pay the 4.85 or whatever the final amount of bids were. Because they had already spent that 50cent per bid previously to even bid.Desired Settlement: I believe BidKind is in the wrong and they should commit to providing me the two front row tickets to Fleetwood Mac that they stated I won. If they had not led me on, and had their computers fixed this would not have been an issue. The company made a commitment that I would receive and invoice and the tickets by the end of day 1/**/15 and now they should live up to this.
