Bieber Concrete

Review: I received unsatisfactory workmanship about 3 years ago by Bieber Concrete. The driveway was supposed to be sealed and was not completed. Also cracks and repairs were supposed to be completed and were not. Amongst supposed completion of the job [redacted] (owner) moved onto a different job and used my front lawn as a storage property for over 3 days. I would like driveway surface repaired and cracks fixed properly like agreed upon. I have pop marks and loose concrete chips now all over driveway.Desired Settlement: I would like repairs done and resurfacing of complete driveway and sealed to normal standards or job refunded so I can get job properly repaired for longevity.

Review: I contracted with this individual for a concrete driveway. The contract total was to $4250. My original down payment was 1800, but over the course of two months (from June 8 through August 15) he collected $3900 in total payments from me. I was constantly lead on into believing he would complete the job but more money never got me closer to finishing. In mid-August he finally admitted he didn't have the money for the concrete to be poured. Understand my balance left for the job was only $350! I had to pay for the concrete out of pocket or risk having to take him to court. I felt like the only way I'd see a driveway I paid for was to enlarge it considerably, and add more work for him to do to make up for the larger cost. He agreed to adding more feet to the driveway but I also had to come up with money for his helpers so I had to make the driveway even larger to cover that cost. He got an additional $900 dollars from me in cash. He received a total of $4800 dollars and I had to pay for the concrete costing me an additional $2000. Finally the driveway was poured. He said he would return the next day to remove the forming boards and to complete the additional work he agreed to:- A drainage pipe and ditch going around the garage.- Removing some junk.- Removing landscape timbers he was supposed to remove back in June.He wouldn't even return to remove the form boards and spikes. It's been 11 days since my driveway was poured and I had to find someone else to remove them so I could finally drive on! I can't help but wonder what position I would be in if I didn't have the resources to pay for that concrete. Someone else would not have been as fortunate.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $450 extra he was paid to perform the ditch and junk removal that he seems to have reneged on.
