To whom it may concern, I received a letter stating that a complaint has been filed against me by *** ***The gentleman I spoke to for this job was named Mike and after reading the complaint there are some details that were left outI arrived on the job at 4:pm and left at 6:pm,
I also had to return the next day to check the unit and get the invoice signed which took another half hourThe total amount of hours billed to the customer was 1/hoursThe total for the job was $which included the 1/hours labor mentioned before as well as lbs of freon and a trip charge of $I called Mike to see if he could meet with me the morning after the job was completed to pay for the invoice, however he was not available so I went on with my day running callsI returned later and Mike was still not available so I called him to discuss the billHe argued with me on the phone stating that the price was unfairAfter an hour of him arguing the bill I stated I would take $so I could go on with my other calls at which point he told his employee to write me a $checkTo be clear, the bill was in fact $570, however the customer only paid $of that. When I go to a call for the first time and the unit is low on freon, so long as it is not a large amount it is standard for me to add freon vsfinding the leakSmall leaks can take years to leak lbs of freon and it is not economical to try to find a pin hole leakIn addition, the customer called me days after the initial call stating the unit was not working againThe unit is very old and it could very well be a different problem completely unrelated to the freon leakThe reason I do not intend to do business with Mike or Roslyn again is because they were clearly dissatisfied with my prices before and never paid their first bill in fullIn my opinion, a customer that is that unhappy with a company should seek a second opinionIf you would like a copy of the check and the original invoice, I would be happy to provide thosePlease let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
