Customer was unaware that his account automatically comes off freeze once the designated freeze time is upHe failed to refreeze his membershipIn this case, he was being billedHowever, because we are a family owned and operated establishment, we decided to still remove this member from
collections, honor the times he wished to freeze and zeroed out his past due balanceWe just spoke to *** *** and cleared up the confusion on the stipulations of his contractWe also supplied him with a copy of his signed agreement and discussed his options going forward

I have tried numerous times to get in contact with Big als Family Fitness and I have not been able to get through and I still haven't received a refundEverytime I call either the manager is in surgery, a meeting, or gone for the dayIt's impossible to talk to someone about this problemUnless I'm able to talk to someone about this problem and I get the reassurance that I will get money back, I won't be satisfied

address this matter myself in hopes to rectify what issue occurredIn addition to that, I see that you mentioned that you wished to cancelAgain, if you have a copy of your cancellation form, I will gladly assistAs stipulated in your contract, we ask that you send in a cancellation request via certified mail or by contacting the member services department at ***I have checked with the department as far as a request for cancellation and they don't seem to have anything on file. With that being said, yes, our Westbury location is relocatingWe have sent countless emails, regular mail notices, hung signs in the facility and even distributed notices on what steps our members should take going forwardI truly apologize for any information that you have not received. Even though member did not have any documentation stating that she hand cancelled we refunded her the moneymember failed to notice her refund that was processed on 12/**/at 4:37PM

*** *** has been working rather closely with our Regional Manager to ensure that she is happy with our establishmentWe are eagerly awaiting a resolution that will make her happy as we truly do value each and every one of our members

To Whom It May Concern We deeply apologize for your frustrationsPlease understand that this has been a very difficult time for all of us as we transition out of our former Westbury locationWe truly apologize if you have felt left in the dust or neglected in any wayThis is not what Big
Al's Family Fitness is about. We are unable to speak on behalf of an employee at Big Al'sWe never approve of taking this approach because going back and forth never truly resolves anything - and Big Al's is results drivenThis matter will be taken up with management in hopes to find a solution on how WE can be better within our own very four walls. We see that you were a Westbury member and a very loyal member at thatOnce we realized we would have to close our doors, we sent out regular mail and emailsWe hung signs in the facility and we sent out text messages to all our members letting them know of the proper procedures to take regarding their membership. We have been in touch with our member services department and were able to recall the correspondence between this member and our departmentWe see that ** *** inquired about cancelling his agreementHis agreement was immediately cancelledOur member services department notified all members that were inquiring that the refund process will take daysThey also let our members know that this process is extremely detailedWe had a small team researching each and every agreement to make sure that each member gets the attention and time they deserve. Once contacting thousands of members with questions and concerns on agreements, we were able to categorize these agreementsIn addition to that, we inquired with Consumer Affairs and the Surgeon General regarding contracts in questionWe were advised that no refunds needed to be processed due to the circumstanceHowever, Big Al's Family Fitness wasn't taking that for an answer - even though no refunds is stipulated in all contracts - we knew we had to do moreOur members are our family. From that point forward, we contacted Worlds Gym in East Meadow who graciously accepted all of our members and PT sessions at no additional charge to the memberWe have worked countless hours to ensure that each member is treated with loyalty and respect because this is what we are about. And lastly, all members of course have a home at our Amityville locationAll agreements and PT sessions will absolutely be honored at our Amityville facility that is less than miles away from where our Westbury facility once stoodWe deeply apologize for any inconvenience but have done everything we could to make sure that you are able to utilize what you purchased
