On July 31, I purchased a sprbed liner for my truck from Big Apple Audio in Plattsburgh, NY Upon arriving home from Big Apple, I noticed a blob of spay material in the bed of my truck After further inspection, I identified bed liner not adhering to tailgate, scratch marks on the bed liner, access to panel to tailgate sprayed over, inadequate and chipping I have compared my bed liner to that of two family members and there is a significant discrepancy in the workmanship between Big Apple and where my family members had theirs done I have been to Big Apple twice since the installation On my first visit the installer inspected the bed liner and was shown what I thought to be flaws The installer stated that the scratches on the tailgate were from his fingernail trying to remove excess product He also advised that he didn't notice the blob of product on the bed liner after installation He then got into the bed and removed the blob with a utility knife leaving Th

I met with Mr. [redacted] to inspect his bed liner that had recently been installed in his vehicle. I was expecting to see a bed liner that was in rough shape. When I examined the bed liner I found no serious issues with the liner. Every liner is installed on its own. There can be...

differences in each liner, that does not mean one was wrong or one was right. Each is its own liner. The issues that Mr. [redacted] is mentioning are really not issues at all. The "Lifting of the edges on the tailgate, if it should occur, is remedied by using and adhesive to tack the corners back down and help hold them in place. This is a standard operating procedure as per the manufacture. The supposed damage on the tailgate was not damage at all. The supposed bubble from the "glob" that was on the truck was not even in the area where the "glob" was removed. We can refer to the pictures he sent to me. I told Mr. [redacted] that I was more than happy to tack down the corners and correct the the other issues he purposed but was not allowed the opportunity to correct the proposed issues. He thanked me and left. I do believe he just wants money refunded. The email he sent me before he brought me the vehicle to inspect warned me he was looking for some type of refund. He said the job was rushed and is what it is and he wanted to know what he could receive for a partial refund.I explained to him that I could not offer a refund without seeing what the issues were. Like I said, I was hard pressed to see what the refund issues could be after looking at the bed liner. We are still more than happy to take corrective measures that we see as appropriate to correct the issues that he is proposing, but I think he is more interested in a refund than any corrective measures that we would take.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mr. F[redacted] stated that the issues I have brought up are really not issues at all.  If that is the case, I can post side by side of photos of my relatives bed sprays to mine on social media.  This will enable people to make an informed decision regarding who they would like to do their bed spray.  I am seeking a refund and not repair due to the fact that I do not wish to be without a vehicle and do not want poor workmanship to be "fixed" with glue.  I have attached as many photos as allowed to illustrate my imaginary problems and the damage on the tailgate which "was not damage at all".
