***, Big Bear installed the roof for *** *** in April of The roof was torn off down to the existing felt, new synthetic felt was installed and new 30yr shingles, along with new metal drip edge The roof was installed correctly It turned out so good that Big Bear
has even used it as an advertising job for our company We are very proud of the work we did for Mrs***.About months ago I was contacted by Mrs*** about some issues she was having When I went to meet her about the problems we found that some the the metal drip edge was not perfectly aligned and that the edge shingle seal had broke loose Big Bear re-aligned the metal drip edge, used a pop-rivet to secure the seamsWhich is going way above and beyond what any roofing contractor would do Big Bear also re-sealed the entire perimeter with new sealant to secure the edge shingles At the time that this work was preformed Mrs*** seemed satisfied Weeks later she called me again with a new set of problems When I went to address I could not find anything wrong with the areas of concern When I tried to explain to her there was nothing wrong with the roof she did not want that answer The valleys are what she was questioning She did have an engineer inspect the roof, and his report was that the valley was installed incorrectly I have concerns about his report though Without removing the valley there would be no way to tell if the valley was installed incorrectly The engineer did not remove any of the valleys When I asked to see the report it was just typed on a piece of paper with no letter head and it was signed *** Didn't even have a last name The report didn't seem very official I have been back out to her house and took multiple pictures of the areas of concern I can see no problems with the roof Also, there are no leaks that Big Bear has been informed of
