In addition to responding to this complaint via mail, I am writing the same response in this email, to ensure that it reaches you in a timely matter I was very sad and disappointed to have received this complaint The person, and a group of his peers, have done nothing but take advantage of the brewery since they began coming to the brewery years ago Show Us Your Beaver has always meant “wear your Big Beaver shirt or hat for a free pint.” This customer has come in only for free beer on Wednesdays and Saturdays, hardly ever paying for beer and never tipping the servers Wednesdays are Mug Night, when you bring in your mug and your 1st pint on us We have had our daily specials established for over years, with more than enough explanation about what each one meant The Saturday that he and his friends came in, they rang up a $tab When my servers told him that he could receive a free beer for bringing in his mug on Wednesdays only, and explained to him Show Us Your Beaver was wearing your Big Beaver shirt or hat for a free pint, he was extremely rude and caused a scene He refused to pay his tab for the beers that he and his friends had and left He came back later to throw his shirt on the bar and make another scene, still refusing to pay his tab He is stating blatant lies: “the girls working there are trying to collect money for free beer”, “was told the mug logos no longer worked for show your beaver day” (they NEVER were a part of Show Us Your Beaver), and that he “tried to talk to someone higher up in the chain to resolve this matter but was greeted by lies and the same people who caused this issue” (this NEVER happened) We are MORE than generous with giving out free beer, and it’s sad that he and his friends are taking advantage of it The one time that they don’t get their way by getting out of paying for any beer, I get bad Yelp reviews and Revdex.com complaints It’s honestly very upsetting to read and respond to this complaint, because he and his group of friends have gotten so much free beer from us for years He calls himself loyal, but he is far from that The only thing he is a loyal about is coming in to get all the free beer he can Him and his friends even show up to events where we are giving out beer samples and free pint and growler cards, so they have even more opportunities to get free beer A few weeks ago, one of his friends ended up paying the tab that he wanted “to be thrown out”, because he knew what really happened in the situation and that the writer of this complaint was at fault I would appreciate it if this complaint of accusations would not count against us I would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions that you may have about my past experiences with this individual and his friends Thank you for your time, [redacted] Marketing Director

advantage of the brewery since they began coming to the brewery 2 years ago.  Show Us Your Beaver has always meant “wear your Big Beaver shirt or hat for a free pint.”  This customer has come in only for free beer on Wednesdays and Saturdays, hardly ever paying for beer and never tipping the servers.  Wednesdays are Mug Night, when you bring in your mug and your 1st pint on us.  We have had our daily specials established for over 2 years, with more than enough explanation about what each one meant.
The Saturday that he and his friends came in, they rang up a $19 tab.  When my servers told him that he could receive a free beer for bringing in his mug on Wednesdays only, and explained to him Show Us Your Beaver was wearing your Big Beaver shirt or hat for a free pint, he was extremely rude and caused a scene.  He refused to pay his tab for the 3 beers that he and his friends had and left.  He came back later to throw his shirt on the bar and make another scene, still refusing to pay his tab.
