The customer called on 6/29/ to cancel her event due to medical issuesWe have canceled the reservation on 6/29/2016. Our policy is $down to secure the reservation with a balance due week before the eventIf the customer cancels a reservation due to inclement weather we refund 80% of the total back to them with the remaining 20% to be keep on file for any future events (See attached rental agreement) with all documents pertaining to this case. Since her cancellation was not due to inclement weatherOur policy is $is non-refundableWhen the event was cancelled they stated they would like to reschedule for a future date, so instead of keeping the $per the contract that should have been non-refundableAs a courteous due to her medical issues and her looking to reschedule (another event in the future) we explained via phone to the customer that we would refunded $(80%) and kept her $(20%) credit on file to be used toward another eventThis would have allowed her to use the credit ($67.84) towards a future event without losing the $non-refundable fee. At this point we have on file $in credit which could have been used towards any future eventsWe would be happy to revert back to the contract which would be $non- refundable( meaning we keep the $50.00) and we would issue another refund of $to equal the $currently kept on fileShe would no longer have any credit on file and would only be issued a remaining $per the contract.
