other vehicles on the used car lot around the corner. 3. As stated on the bill of sale it was sold AS IS. The vehicle had 236K miles on it. 4. When they contacted me regarding the problem I did work with them and offered several options. One option was to replace the engine at a discounted price of $2500, that is $1000 off the actual price it would have cost. Two, was to have the engine rebuilt at my cost. Three, they purchase their own engine and I install it, which I typically don't do. 5. 3/11/16 they contacted me with a solution that was acceptable to both parties. They asked if I would buy the truck back for $1000 and that would make it right by them. We had a verbal agreement and handshake that the $1000 would satisfy the problem. So I gave them $1000 on 3/15/16 with the understanding that this would satisfy the issue and no further action would be taken. 6. The Chevy truck we purchased from them was traded out for parts. Not that it is any business to them. 7. The engine that they said we happen to have, has been listed on [redacted] prior to any of this happening. The truck it came out of was a truck I purchased for parts to use on my own personal truck. 8. The truck threw a rod through the oil pan, it is an internal engine failure. That is something that is unfortunately undetectable.With all of this, I would like to reiterate that this was a personal sale and in no way connected to Big B's Family Automotive. I have attached the bill of sale for the original purchase and the purchase back. It clearly states my personal name and sold AS IS. I did try and justify the situation and I feel that they are personally coming after me because they know I own a business. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
