We have attached a copy of the signed invoice with his signature for the purchase of a Frigidaire, white, cubic ft refrigerator that measures x inches by *** *** It states on the invoice he paid $delivery fee, which is for the purchased appliance onlyWe did get the
purchased appliance delivered and in his house as agreedHe had wanted us to deliver and bring it in because he said he had hip surgery recently and would not be able to get it inWe offer free local delivery to the door which he chose to pay the $to bring it in Also states on the invoice NO STAIRSWhen we arrived he was in his shop appearing to work on his car. We had told him when he purchased the refrigerator that we will deliver it inside for the $as long as we do not have stairs to go down or have to take the fridge doors or house doors offHe told us that it would be easy to get it in the house, that the door should be wide enough etcWhen we got there the door is too narrow and there are stairs with a concrete wall and small landing at the bottom going into the basement that was not big enough for the dolly and fridgeWe had to take off the door to the basement and the doors off the fridgeIt took of us from Big Bubbas Appliances to get the fridge inside, once on the bottom step we had to take off dolly and carry the fridge in by hand, because the dolly and fridge would not fit on the landing together.Just like with the delivery, we told him that if the old one was easy to get out we would at least try, but we normally DO NOT take out the old appliance we will haul it off if it is out of the house, the delivery fee is to "deliver" the purchased appliance onlyThe old refrigerator was a cubic foot side by side that measures inches wide, so it would NOT fit through the inch door hole even if we took the doors off of itWe also told him if he could get it out of his house we would come back and haul it off for him at least, he responded with don't bother I will do it myself. *** and *** ***Big Bubba's Appliances*** * ***

This changes nothing. They knew perfectly well what I was paying for, and now refer to the "fine print."They are deceitful and not very good at their job. I want nothing from them besides having my complaint on record.

We were not deceitful with our information to the customer. We we honest and upfront and explained as we do to every customer that we dont remove old appliances out of peoples houses typically and we offer to haul them off if they are out of the house. The only reason we were even going to try and help this customer out was because he claimed to recently have hip surgery and would be unable to get it out of his house alone. He stated it was easy and we should have no problems getting it out which turned out not to be the TRUTH in this whole situation.  We were not told the truth  from the beginning about how hard it would be to get the very large refrigerator out of his house (basement)  Again it states on his invoice NO STAIRS and is on several signs inside of our shop. Also on his complaint he has the disputed amount as $100 which also he only paid $25 for the delivery of his purchased appliance. We were only trying to help him out of sympathy for having surgery and not being able to do it himself.  We do not deceive our customers or lie to them to sell an appliance, we have not had any complaints in the 5 years we have owned this business which we think kind of speaks for itself. I am sorry he feels the way he does, but we feel we did  not do anything wrong in this situation.
