The customer’s claim that he was quoted $per hour by *** is false. I have looked up and listened to the call recording and will provide it to the Revdex.com upon request. The customer called us out and was presented with a flat price for the repair and accepted on 10/9/2017. The
customer paid in full on this date. We returned the following day 10/10/and performed the repair. If the price for the repair was not acceptable, that should have been brought up upon presentation of the quote and prior to payment on 10/9/2017. To allow us to proceed with the repair for the agreed upon price and payment and not mention any pricing issues until 10/24/does not really make sense. Our pricing was NEVER presented in terms of time and materials and that is not how we operate. Our flat rate pricing takes into account trips to the customer’s home (for diagnosis, for part install and system performance check), trips to the manufacturer (for part pickup, for part return), overhead for office staff (appointment setting, dispatch of technicians, parts research, dispatch of parts runner, administration for warranty paperwork and recordkeeping), overhead for vehicles and insurance as well as warranty holdback to cover our labor warranty on the replaced part should it fail within the labor warranty time frame
This customer is simply making a pricing dispute. We did honor factory parts warranty and that credit is reflected on her signed invoice. Each contractor is free to set their own pricing. We do not honor anyone else's pricing. Price shopping must be done prior to entering...
into a contract. This customer also had burned up wiring harness that can be clearly seen in the attached picture. There is no way the other person who gave her a lower price was even aware of the extent of the repair we made on her unit.
