The warranty offered from them will not cover problems with the vehicleWe have not moved the vehicle since driving it home and attached a picture of the truck that was sold to us with a dead inspection sticker to show that Big Daddy's Auto Sales is not being truthful in their commentWe asked about the steering when we were there and was told it was the alignment not the rack and pinionThis vehicle was not roadworthy to sell and could have caused us to be harmed or someone else if lost controlWe signed the "as is" paperwork because we knew in the state of Pennsylvania it is illegal to sell a vehicle that was not roadworthy so did not go over with a fine lineBig Daddy's Auto Sales put caulking around the oil pan to temporarily keep it from leaking while we were thereAfter getting home, we inspected the picture they showed of the vehicle and you can see a big oil spot under the truck and also showed that it runs excellent which is very untruthfulWe immediately messaged them when we got home from buying the truck which I can attach a copy of the conversationWe tried calling them several times and they would not answer the phoneI have attached a picture of the truck with the dead inspection sticker to show they did not have this inspected and was not roadworthy and also a picture of their listing stating it runs awesome and if you look close you can see the stain from the oil leakWe have not and will not drive the vehicle until this matter is solved through the Revdex.com, Attorney Generals, or last step through courtWe fill that Big Daddy's Auto Sales needs to be held responsible for selling vehicles in this condition before someone loses their life and would either like to return vehicle or for them to agree to have some of the issues repaired from a dealership of my choice

Review: So after buying a 2004 Chevy impala from bug daddy auto sales I notice that the light switch was broken in the vechile and only the high beams worked which was odd...so about a week into buying the car I started to notice that the transmission was slipping a little bit nothing too too bad but then after 2 weeks I couldn't even drive my car in drive over 40 mph I had to drop it into first gear and keep switching from 1st to neutral so my car wouldn't blow up so after taking it to a mechanics to figured out the cost of the damage I decided to call the warranty company([redacted]) and talking with [redacted] I was told that my name was never in their system and that their was no policy. which is funny because when I bought the vehicle I was promised a warranty on the car so after I got denied from them I called the dealer back and he got mad and hung up on my mom when she was trying to explain to him what happen so after threatening with legal action his wife tries to fix the problem by offering another warranty so when I signed the new papers for the warranty they told me to wait a week until we call them(dealer) so they can get my car fixed. so after the week had passed I called them from 1pm till close like he requested and they didn't even open once that day so I took the matter into my own hands since they didn't want anything to do with their customer so after taking to the new warranty company they started a new claim and stuff like that after I was about to get verified for the warranty they denied me because they sold it too us too late and once again because the dealer tried to trick the warranty company into fixing the car when he sold us the warranty when the car was already broke down because the first one they sold us was inactive and didn't even work...I feel like the dealer is the wrong for not telling us what was wrong with it in the first place. They still didn't fix my car so I'm out of money and a car and also have a job so I'm stuck between a rock in a hard place.Desired Settlement: I would like either full repair on my vechile (transmission, light switch) or full reimbursement of the price of the car and the money I put into it...also please do something about the business their not professional and are just out to make a quick dollar and not even concerned about the customer. Also didnt tell us what was wrong with the car before we bought it (tranny, lights) and also when I checked the fluids the tranny fluid was black and watery when it's supposed to be red..

Review: I purchased a vehicle that came with a warrenty. The vehicle started making noises so I wanted to take it to have someone look at it but when I ask the dealer for the warrenty number he said his agent didnt get it in the system yet. Four days later he said he fired his agent cause he was slacking so he was going to do it two days later and he was having computer problems he told me not to come back he would contact me when it was done its been two weeks and nothing the warrenty is only for three months so I think hes stalling so he dosnt have to honer the warrenty.Desired Settlement: I wish that they honer the warrenty so I cwn have my vehicle looked at

Review: Purchased a car through Big Daddy Auto Sales, Smock Pa.2000 Pontiac Sunfire SE. Car seemed fine, sharp looking car.(I do have the mention it also had a bad idler pulley, which my son in law replaced.)Drove car home, car sat for a few days, after which I proceeded todrive car to Beaver Co Pa, up the Pa Turnpike. All was fine during the trip. When I got into Cranberry Pa, I started to notice no brake pedal.I managed to get the car to my destination, where I noticed leaking of brake fluid. This car has only been driven 144 miles. Shame...Had car towed over to local Certified Pa Mechanic, whom proceeded to tellme cars brake lines are all rusted and leaking brake fluid.I was told to think hard about this car as the Unitized Frame was rotted and a crack in the frame. Car is not passable for PA state inspection.Filed a complaint with the PA State Attorney Generals office. Found out in the state of Pennsylvania it is illegal to sell a car even AS IS with a bad rusted frame. I called to make a payment in September and was told my car was up for repo as I did not make August payment. Have proof via checking account. Went ahead and made Septembers payment. I called back to verify all was fine and to please keep their book keeping in order.I was screamed at, told I was acting stupid and this went on and on...This car was knowingly sold with bad brakes lines, a rusted rotted bad Unitized Frame, and a Cracked Frame. Car is not movable period. I am paying for a car I cannot enjoy. This is a sharp looking car, but this must not be allowed to go on. The business of ripping people off that are in dire need of a car, only to be ripped off even more. I have filed with the PA Attorney Generals office, the Revdex.com, and here now with the FTC and each day I will file complaints all over this state with each organization I can file a complaint through.Desired Settlement: I have contacted an attorney regarding this matter: Reimbursement of all money. Reimbursement of all money put down, reimbursement of all monthly payments, as well as title and registration fees. I absolutely WILL NOT pay for any towing fees which may occur once this company claims this car

Review: I bought a 97 dodge ram on may 15,2013 for $1700. I had purchased a warrant from big daddy auto for an additional $400, I was aware this was a used vehicle. two days later my engine blew. it is now june 4,2013 and my truck is still sitting where it broke down at in white oak pa..my fiance has contacted terry the sales person from big daddy auto. nothing has been resolved. he says there is not a garage to that will honor my warranty. it has been roughly 1 month since my vehicle broke down. they are now not returing our calls and I have basically lost $2100Desired Settlement: I would like to have my truck fixed asap as I have have children and now dont have a vehicle. I would also like to see if it is possible to be repaid some or all of my money due to their negligence

Review: I had bought a 2004 Pontiac Aztec from Big Daddy's Auto Sales in Uniontown Pennsylvania on May 20, 2014. I had seen the post on Craigslist and messaged the guy about it. He said it was his own personal car and he wanted to sell it. Long story short, I had found out he works for big daddy's auto sales and I'm assuming he sold it through them since I signed paperwork. When I got there I asked if I could take it for a test drive and he said I can't take it on the highway because there's no license plate on it and he was the only one there. He let me take it down the parking lot and back. It seemed to run okay. I gave him the money for the car and he sent me to [redacted] to get it transferred. I went to pick it back up and on the way home it was making all kinds of sounds, it was losing power and over heating. I had someone look at it for me and it needs wheel bearings, hubs, some kind of universal joint, brakes and rotors on all four wheels, and the all wheel drive is disabled. I took the car back down there the next day and talked to him about it and he said he would either give me my money back, fix the car, or put me in another car, but I had to wait for the title to come in. I received the title Friday June 6, 2014 and took the car down Monday June 9, 2014. I took it down and he said he definitely wanted to buy it back because he has a lot of people that wanted to buy it. He told me to go home and be would bring me my money and pick up the car when he got off of work at 6:00 pm. So I left and waited for him to come. He never showed up I tried calling him and he ignored my calls. I called the dealership and talked to him that way since he ignored my calls. He said he had to work late and that's why he didn't make it out. I said that was fine and asked if he wanted me to just bring it to him. He said no that he didn't even want to buy it back. I asked him why and he just said because I don't. And said he wasn't going to fix it either words were exchanged. He was very rude and inconsiderate.Desired Settlement: I would be very satisfied with a full refund of $1,700 for the car and the $200.00 I paid for the Transfer fees.

Review: I purchased a 1997 dodge ram 1500 ext.cab from this business in may of 2013 for $2400. I also purchased a 1 year warranty for an extra $400. three days later my engine blew up. I have called this company several times with no luck on fixing the problem. the sales man was [redacted] but the company is owned by [redacted]. I have contacted the Revdex.com for this matter and it was not resolved. my truck is at a garage in mckeesport pa. the warranty company (cars warranty) has just informed me they will not fix my truck due to the fact that my warranty was not purchased until june of 2013 and ended yesterday (sept.11,2013).I purchased a year warranty and [redacted] and [redacted] only gvave me a 3 month warranty.I was told by [redacted] that the warranty was purchased the day of the car sale, may 16,2013. I also purchased a 1995 dodge ram 1500 the same day and recently found out the frame is bad. the total of both trucks and warranty came to $2700 after a trade in. I am now down 2 vehicles and can not afford to have them fixed. I feel big daddy auto sales is responsible and I should receive a full refund . I have called the company and they are ignoring my calls. I have received text messages saying I "screwed them over by contacting the Revdex.com". I need this to be resolved asapDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund for both vehicles and the cost of the warranty that was deemed useless. and to have the 1997 ram repaired at big daddys auto sales expense!

Review: The dealership big daddy auto sales in smock pennsylvania has sold me a vehicle neglegently with a bad frame and I have contacted them several times on getting it fixed or having it repaired and they never return your calls and they will not acknowledge the fact that your trying to get ahold of them.Desired Settlement: I would just like for a replacement vehicle to be in place because the truck was sold with a rotted frame.

Review: We purchased a 2003 Dodge Ram on 02/08/14 and on the way home noticed an oil leak. This vehicle was sold to us with a dead inspection sticker and tells his customers to write lost tags on card board to get the vehicle home. Not only does it have a bad oil leak but the rack and pinion is going out, heater core is bad, tires are ready to pop, holes in the exhaust, completely rusted out, and only had one windshield wiper. It would cost about 2000.00 for it to pass inspection. He lied about it in listing and says it runs excellent. None of these problems were disclosed to us and have tried calling him several times and will not answer the phone. This business needs shut down, they have a very shady business and are ripping people off and are breaking the law.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the vehicle for a refund.

I am writing to you regarding this complaint I am faxing the following form.

showing that the vehicle was purchased on the said date and it was sold AS IS. An

aftermarket warranty was offered and purchased by the customer, a Proguard

warranty which I have included a copy of the contract. The customer took the

vehicle for a test drive, the only complaint they had was that the truck had no

heat. The salesman explained to them that it could have been the thermostat.

The customer went over the vehicle and looked under the hood prior to the

purchase and nothing was mentioned about an oil leak or the rack and pinion is

going bad, or that there was an issue with the tires. The truck was purchased from

the auction with a valid inspection. The truck was purchased AS-IS and the

customers are made aware that they are responsible for any repairs that may be

needed. As far as the temp tag, we told them that they could get a temporary tag

at Joe Frida’s, but the customer did not want to spend the extra

$50.00 to get a

temp tag.

Thank you,

Response:

The warranty offered from them will not cover problems with the vehicle. We have not moved the vehicle since driving it home and attached a picture of the truck that was sold to us with a dead inspection sticker to show that Big Daddy's Auto Sales is not being truthful in their comment. We asked about the steering when we were there and was told it was the alignment not the rack and pinion. This vehicle was not roadworthy to sell and could have caused us to be harmed or someone else if lost control. We signed the "as is" paperwork because we knew in the state of Pennsylvania it is illegal to sell a vehicle that was not roadworthy so did not go over with a fine line. Big Daddy's Auto Sales put caulking around the oil pan to temporarily keep it from leaking while we were there. After getting home, we inspected the picture they showed of the vehicle and you can see a big oil spot under the truck and also showed that it runs excellent which is very untruthful. We immediately messaged them when we got home from buying the truck which I can attach a copy of the conversation. We tried calling them several times and they would not answer the phone. I have attached a picture of the truck with the dead inspection sticker to show they did not have this inspected and was not roadworthy and also a picture of their listing stating it runs awesome and if you look close you can see the stain from the oil leak. We have not and will not drive the vehicle until this matter is solved through the Revdex.com, Attorney Generals, or last step through court. We fill that Big Daddy's Auto Sales needs to be held responsible for selling vehicles in this condition before someone loses their life and would either like to return vehicle or for them to agree to have some of the issues repaired from a dealership of my choice.

Review: Purchased a vehicle on Thursday February 5th, 2015. Was told before purchasing vehicle that there was nothing at all wrong besides the vehicle needing an alignment. After leaving the lot and getting vehicle home the next day the vehicle stopped working and broke down. Called big daddy's and they had agreed to fix the issues by Monday February 9th, 2015. I had called over the weekend to ask on the progress and was told " Its my day off." And was hung up on. On Monday February 9th I had called again and was told they hadn't even touched the vehicle. I had asked for my money back and they could keep the vehicle. They had said no and I was a dumb[redacted] for purchasing a piece of [redacted]. I was also told I had 15 minutes to come get the vehicle off of their lot. I drove to get the vehicle which then was parked across the street with the keys in the ignition.Desired Settlement: I would like to return their vehicle and receive a refund for the $1700.00 I used to purchase the vehicle.

Review: I purchased a 2001 Grand Cherokee Loredo 3 weeks ago from this dealer. I put down a 750.00 down payment plus paid 235.00 for tag and title.I only drove the car a few times around my hometown before moving out of state. On my way out of state after owning the car for only 2 weeks. I lost my breaks and ran into a guard rail to prevent myself from hitting traffic on interstate 70 east. I called my car insurance company and they had me towed to my designation. I took my car into have check breaks checks and also a complete view of the car and they redeemed the car not safe and not drivable, so I tried to tell Big daddy auto sales what happened and immediately he threaten to sue me and throw me in jail saying he will get me for theft of the car which I have the pink slip in my name and just was not cooperative at all. This person has done this to others as well and I am not sure how he stays in business. He tells us that they cars are all inspected but when I asked him about my inspection stick which will expire at the end of sept 2013 he had nothing to say. The shop who did the check up said I have over 8,000 in damages and I that they believe I should sue. I could have gotten killed if I did not act after losing my breaks. I am asking that this place be shut down for unsafe practices and not caring about the safety of the individual who leaves off their lot. Now I have no car, no money and stuck.Desired Settlement: I would like to have them pick up the car and return my 750.00 to me so I can put that towards a car in my area. I have not been able to drive the car only but a few times since owning the car. and have him pay for the towing because its not drivable. If he can't give me back my money I will have no choice but to get a lawyer to put him out of business you can clearly see some customers are not happy and he also has photos on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BigDaddyAutoSales

Review: Bought the car drove it not even 10miles shut off me called the car lot for help they said they would send someone out the next day there so called sales man mechanic ([redacted] ) called me and said ill meet you there in a hour ......I waited in the hot sun for three hours waiting on [redacted] never showed up and after I called him to see where he was he shut his phone off went through that for a week ...... Called and talked to the owner ( [redacted]) all he wanted to do is give me the run around it took another week before they towed it to the lot ... They had it for two more weeks did not fix it and dropped if off on the side of the road were they picked it up...... Called [redacted] and asked what's up with the car ...... He was very rude and unprofessional yelling at me and my girl friend calling us names using profanity well I called the Revdex.com and commented online about them..... And then they was nice and wanted to fix it without any problem .... As long as I took my comments down so I did ..... And still nothing I had to pay out of pocket for two tows talked to [redacted] again we made a verbal agreement that I have the car repaired out of my pocket and he would use that as payments ...... Three days after I have it out of the shop ....they repossessed for non payment I just paid 700 dollars to just get the car running and that would be four months of payments mind you were I live is very cold right now they made my girlfriend and I walk at night with our 18 month old son I'm not the only person he has done this to ...... I work way to hard to just throw my money away in all reality I just want my car back with the title free and clearDesired Settlement: Refund and replacement of my car and belongings inside the car

Review: I purchased a car from a friend who originally purchased this vehicle from Big Daddy Auto Sales (no longer in business due to illegal business practices). The problem is I have the original title however it is a NC title the vehicle was transferred from the original owner to Cochran VW in Pgh, PA then to Big Daddy Auto Sales in Smock, PA. There is no additional space on the title to transfer the vehicle to myself or to the person I purchased it off of. All I want is to transfer this title into my name.Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to register the vehicle and transfer it into my name.
