Big Dog Flooring is a fantastic place to get carpet They are very knowledgeable, have competitive prices, and being family owned is always a plus The entire process from selection to install went very smooth
Every time we went into the store were always working with a family member of the business All the sales people I spoke with were very knowledgeable about the various carpets that fit my budget The sales floor is set up so we could walk on various types of carpet and padding combinations to get an idea of what our selection might feel like to walk on After we narrowed our selection down to just a couple of styles they even let us take home large samples of carpet to see what it would look like in our home
When it was time for them to come out to measure the owner himself , Chip, came out personally to speak with us We received the quote the same day by email and were able to narrow down our options from there to fit our budget by working directly with Chip over the phone We compared the final quote matching the materials exactly with other competitors and found that the price was well under the three other companies that we had chosen to price shop
On the day of install we found out that the installers had been working for the company for a long time One of the guys said he had been there for over years The quality of work was very good all of the edges were neatly tucked under the baseboards and you could not find were any of the seams were located The stairs looked great too as each one of the steps was nailed go give it an upholstered look When they left they cleaned up after themselves and even vacuumed the carpet for us to get all the fuzzes up
We are very happy we went with Big Dog Flooring and will be using them again when we have hardwood floors installed in our entryway
