This customer wanted to exchange pj's from a order that was over days old He emailed wanting to know if it was alright to exchange them even though he was way beyond the return/exchange policy date I agreed to extend the time period for him I did not agree to except them after they had been washed and worn, the feet were filthy Our return/exchange policy clearly states "All pj's are to be unwashed, unworn and in resale condition" his were not Originally, I told him we could send them back to him for a $shipping charge or donate them for him After several emails I agreed to send them back to him and our company paid for that shipping He thinks that all of our products should be donated after they are returned, there would be no reason to have our customers return the product if that was the case.Return/Exchange Policy: You have days from the date of purchase to return your product for an Exchange or Days for a Refund.(EXCEPT Purchases made in November or December have until February 1st)Either way, please include a written request with specific instructions on how you would like us to handle your returnAll items returned must be in their Original and Resale Condition; neither washed nor worn.They must be neatly folded and packaged upon returnThose items sent back in unsatisfactory condition may be subject to a $pressing/cleaning fee.EXCHANGES - If you would like to exchange your item(s) for a different style or size you must also include Detailed InstructionsIf your shipping address outside the US, include a Check for Reshipment Charges, per the following schedule:$for First Pair of Pjs; add $per additional pairInclude a check or instructions to bill MC, VISA or PayPal for these International Shipping ChargesREFUNDS - Big Feet Pajama Cowill refund the full cost of the garment if all of the above conditions are metShipping charges will not be refunded.If your instructions and/or check is not included in your package, there will be no action taken.Please return your pajamas with tags, invoice, written instructions and check if necessary to:Big Feet Pajama Co34th Ave NWGig Harbor, WA 98335We are not responsible for items that are sent out and not received by our officesWe suggest that you insure all packages sent to us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The company's argument refers back to their policy, but as stated, my original email acknowledges the policy which is why I emailed them regarding the return prior to shipping itBelow is their response once again..."Hello,Our policy states refunds or exchanges are to be made within days But we will make an exception for you to make an exchange Please include your packing slip along with a note stating what size you would like.Warmest regards,Big Feet Pajama Company"As you see, the company has agreed to exchange the product with no other conditionsWhat they are doing now is trying to refer back to policy on something they clearly already disregarded as an exceptionI did what I was told to do and feel I very disrespected and cheated that they did not honor their wordNow I am at a loss.I can send pictures of the left and right foot of the pajamas and the note that I sent (as requested by the company) if neededThe company may have washed them again, I don't knowI will agree that I tried the pajamas one time and washed them before I sent them backThe fact the company is claiming they will not return them because I "wore" them is ridiculous because I had already informed them I tried them on prior to the above email responsePlease see attachmentThank you.Sincerely, [redacted]
