I had the pleasure of working with the owner of Big Green Landscaping, Michael U*** and his team several times over the last couple of yearsIn 2015, I hired Big Green to install a new sprinkler system for the lawn & flower beds in front an back yardsWe also had MrU*** redesign the flower bedsMrU*** was very knowledgeable with both landscape design and irrigation pipe layoutMy property has a steep natural slope that needed special attention so that water would not be wasted by the watering run offHis team installed a very effective French drain system that solved our run off issuesHe listened to my ideas and then personally selected the types of plants and trees that gave me the look I was hoping to achieve in the yardThe work was completed in a timely manner and within the budget that was agreed uponExcellent follow through and customer serviceRecently we had Big Green Landscaping back for a large involved project that turned out better than we had hoped forMrU*** designed a free standing pergola with stone bases around the support pillarsIt turned out beautiful! His team really did a fantastic job with quality and workmanshipMrU*** was easy to communicate our wishes to and responded timely with answers to our questionsWe had several permits processed without a hitchOur yard is amazing with our new outdoor living areaWe have hosted several parties and have enjoyed the new entertainment area very muchWe could not be more pleased with the outcome and with the care Big Green Landscaping took to do the job right

Review: In Feb 2013 I contracted with Big Green Landscaping to complete a $7000.00 plus landscaping project. They completed the work in a timely manner and I was very satisfied with the work. However as time went on and problems occurred it became clear that [redacted] did not stand behind his work. In June I found the fertilizer system streaming water and filling it's compartment. I was able to shut it down and made five attempts via e-mail and phone re this emergency to [redacted] who failed to respond at all. Finally I contacted the manufacturer of the fertilizer system who mailed me the correct part that should have been installed originally. That solved the problem but still absolutely no follow up from [redacted]. In August 2013 I noticed that the new post supporting the gate had split and warpted. Over the next two months I sent five e-mails and four phone calls requesting [redacted]'s attention. After two months [redacted] finally answered one of my e-mail messages. On 10/2 he checked out the post and told me he would take care of it. It is now 1/15/2014 and no response yet, despite additional letters, phone messages and e- mails. I have never dealt with any service provider who has not stood behind the quality of their work or who cared less for customer satisfaction. It's a shame as the initial work was done well but the follow up has been deplorable. Obviously I should have checked with the Revdex.com befor I contracted for the work. Had I realized Big Green was not a Revdex.com member I would not have contracted with them.Desired Settlement: The gate post should be replaced and the fence which has been strained should be reattached to the new post.

Review: In September of 2013 owner [redacted] informed me of a rebate program through the El Dorado Irrigation District where I could receive funds towards irrigation repairs he was performing on my rental property. Repairs were completed in September and since that time I have requested an invoice detailing what was performed and the cost involved. Repeated phone calls and emails were unanswered until January of 2014. At that time he texted me an said he would send that day. I still do have invoice and I have no idea what he was actually paid for through the rebate program. I have discontinued his service and would not recommend his service to anyone else.Desired Settlement: Provide a detailed copy of repair invoice immediately.

Review: My neighbors informed me that Big Green employees have been abusing my two dogs. It was witnessed on more than one occasion.

According to my neighbors [redacted] and [redacted] my dogs were hit, kicked, and "speared" with a wooden object. They were hit with the leaf blower and other garden tools, They have been yelled at, screamed at, and kicked into submission. Both cowered and cried. Currently, my youngest dog, a pure German Shepherd, age 15 months has multiple stab wounds on his face and neck. My oldest German Shepherd has been sick since they showed up on WEDNESDAY - 09/25 when MY DATE FOR SERVICE is FRIDAY. According to the neighbors, Big Green employees were at my house on days they were not supposed to be. A Sheriff's REPORT will follow.Desired Settlement: I want an apology from the company and the employees FIRED.

Myself and the crew have played fetch with the dogs at this location and several other accounts. One of her dogs is old and sweet. He will bring his chew toy or stick. He's fun. The other dog is a bit aggressive and has tried to bite me while I was fixing irrigation. [redacted] told me to "kick him away, he is learning". I never did nor would I do this. I took an aggressive stance and yelled for him to go. Dog complied and was taken into house.

We have discontinued service at this account even though [redacted] encouraged us to return but just let he know exact time so she could "put aggressive dog in the house."

My word is all I have. It is my bond. These are false alligations. This an unbelievable situatuation. This is an erroneous complaint. We've investigated and can't get a clear account from [redacted]. She has only spoken to me once. When asked, Who, when, where, aprox time, day of week. She couldn't answer. She never got back to me. She is a renter that leaves feces all over back yard. We've informed home owner of this and situation has become contentious. My sons in charge of maintenance. Our whole family loves dogs. We foster dogs from El Dorado Pet Club. We have fostered for Bulldog Rescue and Basset Hound Rescue Sacramento. When my son was a little boy he would get upset if his stuffed animal became damaged.
