Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] First of all URS was provided all the information of the Zenner water meters several weeks in advance of their visitURS had ample time to do research which they did and URS asserted that everything will work and we will be very happy and a satisfied customerWe have the proof of the emails we sent to URS with all the details of the water metersWhich is the only reason why we hired them to do a job of simply setting up their recommended Cerniti radio transmitters on Zenner water metersIt was simple installation as per them as they had done 10,water meter installations!!! Also the 3rd party company name is MCS meters which sells Zenner metersMCS is authorized to sell the Zenner water meters so the water meters had warranty and they are still working with no issuesWe did return the radio transmitters as requested by URS and bought the Cereniti radio transmitters from themIf we did return the radio transmitters as requested by URS, why would we not return the water meters IF URS had said they were not right for the application? Again URS is trying to come up with reasons to pin point every reason to hide their incompetency and is now resorting to cheating tactics in their responses Ultimately, The URS rep told us clearly that the water meters will work with the Cereniti transmitters and that is the ONLY reason we hired them to do the work and paid so much moneyThey never shared any invoice BEFORE the work was completedThey also verbally Threatened that they won't be sharing the water meter readings IF we didn't pay the invoiceWe were coerced to pay their invoice otherwise our company would be losing several thousand dollars every month without the water meter readingsThat is another tactic URS used and ensured they got paid leaving us with STUFF THAT NEVER WORKED FROM DAY ONETHAT IS THE REASON WE WANT A FULL REFUND AS THE INSTALLATION NEVER WORKED AND WE DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH URS ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND CHEAT TACTICS Regards, [redacted]

First of all URS was provided all the information of the Zenner water meters several weeks in advance of their visit. URS had ample time to do research which they did and URS asserted  that everything will work and we will be very happy and a satisfied customer. We have the proof of the emails we sent to URS with all the details of the water meters. Which is the only reason why we hired them to do a job of simply setting up their recommended Cerniti radio transmitters on Zenner water meters. It was simple installation as per them as they had done 10,000 water meter installations!!!
Also the 3rd party company name is MCS meters which sells Zenner meters. MCS is authorized to sell the Zenner water meters so the water meters had warranty and they are still working with no issues. We did return the radio transmitters as requested by URS and bought the Cereniti radio transmitters from them. If we did return the radio transmitters as requested by URS, why would we not return the water meters IF URS had said they were not right for the application?  Again URS is trying to come up with reasons to pin point every reason to hide their incompetency and is now resorting to cheating tactics in their responses.
Ultimately, The URS rep told us clearly that the water meters will work with the Cereniti transmitters and that is the ONLY reason we hired them to do the work and paid so much money. They never shared any invoice BEFORE the work was completed. They also verbally Threatened that they won't be sharing the water meter readings IF we didn't pay the invoice. We were coerced to pay their invoice otherwise our company would be losing several thousand dollars every month without the water meter readings. That is another tactic URS used and ensured they got paid leaving us with STUFF THAT NEVER WORKED FROM DAY ONE. THAT IS THE REASON WE WANT A FULL REFUND AS THE INSTALLATION NEVER WORKED AND WE DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH URS ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND CHEAT TACTICS.

Regards,
[redacted]

Response to Mr. [redacted] Complaint.1. Yes they contracted with us to install technology to meters they had already purchased andinstalled. He had already purchased another brand of transmitters that were notweatherproofed and was desperately seeking another alternative as quickly...

as possible.2. URS did contact the manufacturer and we were told that the meters did put off a pulse, but theyneeded to be tested as they were not approved for use with Ceremiti transmiiter. They alsostated that the meters Mr. [redacted] ordered were not from the original manufacturer, but from athird party.3. URS requested the manufacturer of the technology, Cereniti to test the water meters to see whythe pulses were not recording correctly. Cereniti completed their testing on May 20, 2016. Theirresults indicated that the Zinner meter has a pulse, but also has an encoded side. The metersMr. [redacted]i purchased apparently were programmed to the Encoded method of gatheringreadings from a meter. Cereniti tested the meters from the Zinner manufacturer and theencoded transmitters recorded correctly.4. All of URS’s paperwork has the disclaimer that we cannot be held responsible for meters ortechnology that was purchased and installed by anyone other than URS to work correctly. As inthis case Mr. [redacted] purchased the meters from a third party and did not provide URS with theinformation to correctly order the transmitters to work with the meters he had installed. Mr.[redacted]i has been unreasonable allowing the manufacturer to test the equipment before the installwhich would have prevented this entire situation. Mr. [redacted] had made constant calls after hoursto my lead technician’s cell phone badgering him to get the technology in and installed. Cerenitihas requested that an encoded transmitter be sent to the property to insure that the meters arein the “Encoded” mode to correctly work with the technology.5. Mr. [redacted]i paid the deposit and the final invoice with the disclaimer wording printed on bothinvoices. No” underhanded deceit” was instigated.6. URS worked with the information that was provided and has worked with the Cerenitimanufacturer to arrive at a response that is fair and reasonable. As the meters are under mobilehomes, they have to be specially built with a Level 4 weatherproofing to prevent corrosioninside the transmitter. They have offered to send Mr. [redacted] new level 4 encoded transmittersafter the test has been completed for him to install and then to return the Level 4 pulsetransmitters back to Cereniti for credit.Dan [redacted]Utility Recovery Systems, Inc.317-356-8988May 27, 2016
