very irresponsibly in handling this complaintThey have been very nonchalant about the whole situation, not even concerned about what could have possibly happened had my renters, if they totally lost both tires and wheels on the motorhomeEven Big Jim's insurance company admitted to me that they were irresponsible in filing the claim promptlyThe truck repair company that completed the repairs caused by Big Jim's service technician's negligence, informed me that the wheel lug nuts put on by Big Jim's service technician were never torqued to the proper specificationsThis company is a large reputable truck repair company, that has been in business for years and has several locations to serve the trucking industry, and I don't feel they would have told me these facts if they weren't trueFurthermore if the service technician for Big Jim's felt there were mechanical issues with the vehicle, then he should have contacted me the owner, regarding the mechanical issues and not released the vehicle until the proper repairs were made to make it safe to driveInstead the service technician for Big Jim's released the vehicle to my renters and claims he informed my renters that they needed to have the wheel lug nuts torqued to specifications in miles or the wheels may fall off, yet my renters claim nothing was said to them, nor was anything provided in writing to that factMy renters weren't even provided a copy of the service order for the repairs nor was I by Big Jim'sMy renters took a cell phone image of the invoice and sent it to me, but no physical copy was ever provided by Big Jim's and there is no mention that the lugs nuts need to be torqued in miles, or that there are mechanical issues with the vehicle and it is unsafe to driveSince the vehicle is a rental unit, my insurance company requires me to keep up to date maintenance recordsEvery time the vehicle returns from a rental, a point mechanical inspection is completed documenting and mechanical issues and what repairs are requiredIn addition to the weekly mechanical inspections, the wheel lug nuts and lug bolts in question were inspected by a local tire company weeks prior to this incident, and there was no mention made that a mechanical issue was present with those lug nuts and lug boltsIt ultimately comes down to the fact that Big Jim's service technician was negligent in releasing the vehicle if he felt it was unsafe to drive and needed repairs
