This gentleman came in with his family and another friend of theirs who was a mechanic. They took the car and put it up on a rack. It was a repo that I had received and they were fine with it. They bought it on 6/12/15 and on 7/1/15 they came in...

and made a payment and left. The very next day he called and said the car was overheating. He brought it back to me and sure enough, it was in the red. I asked if he wanted to leave it here and we'd look at it. We tried silicone syndicate for $50 in parts and labor. It was not overheating when it left. He left with it and called back about 2-3 hours later and said it was overheating again. I told him he messed it up the first time then and asked him to bring it in. He brought it in while I was in the parking lot. The car was smoking and he was on the phone. I knocked on the window and asked what he was doing and he told me he wanted me to see it smoking. Anyone could see it smoking. I told him to leave it here and we'd look at it. His mom came up afterwards. I explained they brought it in a month later and it wasn't having any problems, they checked it out when they left with it. The kid obviously drove it while it was hot. They came back and said they wanted to pick the car up. I wanted to know where it was going to be fixed. I said I had a guy who would come pick it up and fix it for $1,100 and a 6 month warranty. He told me he was going to take it to Granite City. I told him I wouldn't release the car so they could go scrap the car. It has happened to me too many times. He came in and made another $100 payment. The car does have a blown motor. He claims he will have his dad fix it in the complaint and if he would have told me this in the beginning I'd let him have it. I will put a new motor in it if he doesn't want to and the motor is blown on it because of his neglect.
