I'm ( [redacted] *.) the manager of Big JoyI helped the complaintant and her daughter with a dress that they both liked how it fitted and looked .Once I helped the daughter with the dress the left loop was looseI noticed the loose loop on the left sideI did not tell the complaintant about the loop because I knew the Owner could tack it back.The complaintant decided to put the dress in the layawayI was off the next day and I did not get to tell the Owner to fix the loop that was loose on the left sideI (manager) called the complaintant and asked her would she bring the dress back so we could fix the loopThe complaintant said okWhen she brought the dress back, she had spoken to the Owner and the Owner thought it the dress was damaged on the floorSo the Owner told her she could exchange for another dress like the one she purchased in the same size if we have it in the storeThe Owner and myself(manager) looked the dress over and realized that the loops on the left side had been cut and also the right loop had been cutI(manager) called the complaintant and asked her did she or her daughter cut the loops off, she replied no and she would have to ask her daughterWhen complaintant picked up her layaway, the left loop was loose not missing and there was nothing wrong with the right loopBig Joy does not sell damaged merchandiseDamage merchandise does not enter on the sales floorThe Owner was not rude, but very helpfulAs the complaintant was talking, the Owner did not cut her from talking, the complaintant was heading toward the doorBig Joy always try to rectify any situations with the customers and the merchandise in the store

because I knew the Owner could tack it back.The complaintant decided to put the dress in the layaway. I was off the next day and I did not get to tell the Owner to fix the loop that was loose on the left side. I (manager) called the complaintant and asked her would she bring the dress back so we could fix the loop. The complaintant said ok. When she brought the dress back, she had spoken to the Owner and the Owner thought it the dress was damaged on the floor. So the Owner told her she could exchange for another dress like the one she purchased in the same size if we have it in the store. The Owner and myself(manager) looked the dress over and realized that the loops on the left side had been cut and also the right loop had been cut. I(manager) called the complaintant and asked her did she or her daughter cut the loops off, she replied no and she would have to ask her daughter. When complaintant picked up her layaway, the left loop was loose not missing and there was nothing wrong with the right loop. Big Joy does not sell damaged merchandise. Damage merchandise does not enter on the sales floor. The Owner was not rude, but very helpful. As the complaintant was talking, the Owner did not cut her from talking, the complaintant was heading toward the door. Big Joy always try to rectify any situations with the customers and the merchandise in the store.
