Review: This company was to install a new engine in my boat. The boat was dropped off at their facility in January. I took a drive out to the company at the end of March to check on the status and the old engine was still in the boat, although the plugs, some hoses and the manifolds and risers were removed. I started calling and was told work would begin on it in about a week, it was not, called again and was told they were starting it Monday, they did not. Finally at the end of May after several more calls and no progress I asked if I could pick up my new engine and take the boat some where else.I was told that my boat would take a back seat to large commercial boats that this company works on, but was never told the boat would not be ready for spring, or that it could take longer than the 5 months they had it. I initially put down a deposit of $850.00 with the balance due at completion. It was agreed upon when I picked up the new engine that I would be reimbursed $300.00 since very little work had been done on the boat. I sent a text a few weeks ago asking when I would receive the money and was told it was going out the following week. To this day I still have not received it.Desired Settlement: $300.00
