I appreciate your interest in this situation although I believe my side of the story will have little impact on the outcomeWhile some of Kathleen's characterization of the event is accurate, she omitted several details that should
be considered. Her claim states that I did not provide the main appetizer, a coffee bar and wine glasses for the reception, in fact there were three appetizers slated for the "cocktail hour" of the three I provided two, the third one I left in my kitchen, when I realized it I apologized but that was definitely my mistakeThe coffee was an add on to the regul;ar supply of beverages which were iced tea, lemonade and water but I did not bring that to the event. Finally, the wine glasses were not part of our contract, in fact I have never supplied wine glasses to any event, primarily because of the liability costsFurther the reception host supplied champagne glassesSome details that Kathleen forgot to mention, when I admitted my errors, I calculated what would be a fair refund, this happened before I had been contacted by any of the Hanner familyI mailed the check to Kathleen and then sent her an email to tell her that I had sent the refund. Her response to me was that I had gone above and beyond what I was contracted to do and that she did not want or would not accept my refund. I thought the matter was over. Then I started getting these threatening and inappropriate emails from her son demanding a refund three times what I had sent and making wild claims about that I had not done this or that and that I had not written the contract properly, even though he had signed the document months in advance of the event. There were several other activities that I was not contracted to do but did free of charge because I wanted to help these folks out, these are three of at least six extras. Two days before the event, the bride found out that the venue did not supply the 10 cocktail tables for the cocktail hour, they asked for my help I charged them exactly what my costs were I did not charge them for set up or delivery costsAt the same time, the venue gave me a list of services that I was to provide that the bride had said I agreed to which included but was not limited to removing all of the trash from the reception and staying at the venue until midnight for a final check out, even though I was the only vendor left and the eveny was over at PM. And lastly, we found out the day of the event, that we were expected to cut and serve the cake and did not charge them for that serviceAfter the event and after I had these email exchangesI thought that it was done, but Kathleen deposited my check even thoygh she said that she wouldn't, so my check was returned when I contacted her why she didn't at least tell me that she had changed her mind her response "well things change. "

This is in regards to me rejecting the email received from Roger Mann.I would first like to say that I did not threaten him, nor did my SonI do have all the emails from him and would be more than happy to provide them to you. Also, I never said to him in an email or by any other means that " t Well things changed"When he sent me the check I did try to cash it, it Bounced and I sent him a very nice email and he replied by saying he would send me a new one plus bank fees. There were times he stated he would be issuing me a new check. Which he never sentThe last email he sent stating he would send a new check was very nasty, it was obvious to me he felt I was bothering himGo figure....I am the one holding the bad check! As for the wine glasses, we discussed this at the tasting. We did ask about wine and champagne glasses. He stated that he did not provide champagne glasses, but the wine glasses he would. It is written in the contract that "glassware" is provided. He was to provide water, iced tea, lemonade and a coffee bar, he forgot the coffee bar (which he created an argument about that at the reception, one excuse after another why that wasn't there)So my question to this is if it was to be water glasses only, what were the guests to drink their coffee from? As for the cocktail tables, I sent him an additional $for the tables and extra timeI could go on and on about other things that did not go right that day, but at this point I don't feel it necessary
