I would like to make this short and to the point as I am an extremely busy businessman and cannot let someone ruin my business and smear my reputationFirst, as he stated, I was not there nor have I ever met him, therefore, I am relying on the information being related to me by my employeesI had asked my employees and they confirmed that no one claimed any responsibility the day of the “incident”In regards, to Leon he says that he never told him to make any appointment. With that said please note that it is scientifically impossible for a windshield to crack simply because of hot water being poured during cold temperatures as he’s claiming, I would ask that the customer refers to thermal stress That’s when liquid of an opposing temperature enters into an already weakened area of the surface (glass, in this case) and causes it to expand or fluctuate to such a degree that an additional or more profound defect occurs along the defect's most vulnerable edgesIn layman’s terms the windshield would’ve cracked if a. there was already a small chip or crack and b. there was a sudden change in temperatureWhat this tells us is that the customer’s windshield was already compromised, and now he’s stating that it was due to my employees using hot water to wash his car in cold temperaturesHowever, that’s impossible because as I stated before, we DO NOT use hot water to wash cars, in my opinion that would be a poor business practiceIF his windshield was truly cracked while his car was being washed, the only scientific explanation is that he most likely had the heater blasting on his windshield and then the cold water contrasted on it and his windshield was already chipped or cracked; because as he indicated it was a “very cold day” so it is safe to assume his heat was onTherefore, IF there is a crack on the windshield it is solely his fault and responsibility which he is now attempting to put on my business. Since it is hard for me to rely on what he is saying and what my employees are telling meThe only way I will pay for any damages is if I get the report from Safelite stating the point of impact and what caused the damage on his windshield because as a business owner I cannot be liable for something that did not happen at my business

I am rejecting this response because:The business response is all liesI cannot believe after making me suffer this much he has the audacity to lie blatantlyThe windshield was perfectly fine when I entered and they used hot water which immediately cracked the windshield
I came out of the car and stopped the car wash immediately to show them the crackThey were scared and tried to reach their owner who did not respondedI came atleast for weeks daily because that falls on my way to work and he never respondedHe even told him employee to tell me his is out of country and will come and pay as soon as I am back Leon asked me specifically to setup an appointment with Safelite and he promised his boss will payI took a day off work to come and And he never showed upSome of his workers were standing in cold for hours and no-one came to open the storeI even offered his worker coffee and to sit in my carThis is a very irresponsible business person who does not care for his employees, his customers and is lying non-stopI am more pissed now that everAlso you can contact Safelite technician who finally fixed my car about what he saw there when he was fixing itHonestly, some of the business around this car wash saw me coming so many times that they felt sorry for me but I am surprised a small business like this lie so blatantly and have such malpractives
