Review: I was driving on vacation to from northern CA to Yosemite and on my way there my Check Engine Light turned on. I was very worried and had only 1 day and two nights at Sonora. It was a Friday night when I arrived at Sonora. I visited Big O Tires #5243 for help on Sat morning (Oct 10). I told the sales person my situation. The sales person said he understood my worry and my limited time. But he said his staff would fix the car for me. After I paid $24.95 and waited for 45 min, he came back and told me the light on had been fixed and it was just a loose gas cap. After re-confirming the problem in my car had been completely fixed, I drove away from Sonora to continue my vacation. But on the second day I left, the Check Engine Light turned on again. Without knowing what to do, I had to shorten my vacation and drove back to Seattle. I replaced a gas cap and cleared the light at a shop. But the light came back again for the second time. Then I asked a mechanic I trust to do a thorough examination. It turned out the real issue in my car was NEVER fixed. Big O Tires in Sonora just manually clearly the light on the dash board of my car without doing any repair work, but claimed they completely fixed the car. I have been cheated by them and wrongly charged by them. Please help me, as a helpless traveler far away on the road.
