Response:While checking out the air conditioning in this customers vehicle, we found that the engine oil cooler was leakingThis can cause the vehicle to overheat, and if leaking bad enough, can cause the ac to quit workingWe replaced the engine oil cooler and also performed an evacuate and recharge on the air conditionerTwo days later, when we checked the ac for leaks, the temperature was reading correctly and it still had the correct amount of freon in the systemAt this time, we had not detected any leaksSix weeks later, the customer returned complaining that the ac was blowing warmWe checked the system again for any leaks, and it was at this time we found that the evaporator core was now leakingThe manager of our store has spoken with the customer several times trying to explain all the different components that make up the ac system, and has even offered to physically show her the parts we replaced and what still need to be doneThe customer will not return to give us the opportunity to show her whats wrong with her vehicleSent on: 10/25/1:51:PM

Regards,
I never went to the business because I didn't see where just pointing out the parts that I needed or pointing out the parts that were replaced would do me any goodEvery time I talked with them It was a different story. The last thing they told me was " not to run the defrost till fixed will ruin compressor" To me it was one things after another To be sure I would never take my automobile back there for anything..everI do have a company that that will fix it for 400.00.I just want the consumer to know when businesses are dishonest and try to get you to do unneeded repairsTheir story changed so much I felt like I was on a merry- go- roundThe last estimate was and they offered to take off that.I will fax the estimate in to youThank you for your help

[When I took my car to Big O I was looking for a reputiable company that would do a good job that I could trust. I had taken it to another dealer and he said I evindently had a leak that he couldn't find. He suggested I take it to someone who could find the leak. He didn't want to charge me hours for a search. When I  took to  Big O I told them I was going to my brother's funeral and I needed my AC working. They gave a long list of items I needed done. I did tell them I couldn't do those thing at this time. They replaced an engine oil cooler. They didn't call or say anything about..they  just that my air was fixed. I feel like they misled me.To me it was a guessing game at my expense. Lets try this . Then they said you have a leak after they checked for leak after the repair 2 days later...you're ok NO leaks and then 6 weeks later you have another leak.[redacted]  [redacted] Let  me add I was offered a 50.00 discount on the additional work of 650.00./ [redacted]

The customer came in on August 3, 2017 complaining that her air conditioner was blowing warm. We started with an ac evacuate and recharge, which during which we insert a dye into the freon, making it possible to see if there are any leaks. On August 5, 2017 the customer returned so we could...

adequately check the system for any leaks. We searched the customers vehicle and no leaks were present at this time. On September 20, 2017 the customer returned complaining that the ac was blowing hot again. This go around we did find that the evaporator core was leaking. Where this particular part is located requires for the entire dash to be pulled out of the vehicle just to access it. Our estimate to fix this is $650, and the customer declined the work. There is no way for us to determine weather this part is about to go out or not, with our first and second inspection of this vehicle, there were no leaks present.

Response:While checking out the air conditioning in this customers vehicle, we found that the engine oil cooler was leaking. This can cause the vehicle to overheat, and if leaking bad enough, can cause the ac to quit working. We replaced the engine oil cooler and also performed an evacuate and recharge on the air conditioner. Two days later, when we checked the ac for leaks, the temperature was reading correctly and it still had the correct amount of freon in the system. At this time, we had not detected any leaks. Six weeks later, the customer returned complaining that the ac was blowing warm. We checked the system again for any leaks, and it was at this time we found that the evaporator core was now leaking. The manager of our store has spoken with the customer several times trying to explain all the different components that make up the ac system, and has even offered to physically show her the parts we replaced and what still need to be done. The customer will not return to give us the opportunity to show her whats wrong with her vehicle. Sent on: 10/25/2017 1:51:48 PM

The customer purchased a set of tires from our location on 7-9-15.  Almost two months later on 9-4-15 the customer returned due to a tpms light on his dash.  Upon inspection it was found that passenger front tire had a screw in it and the driver rear tire had a piece of metal. on...

10-2-15 we replaced a driver rear wheel stud and lug nut.  on 10-6-2015 customer returned stating that the tpms light had never went out from the previous flat repair a month ago.  After inspection was performed it was determined that one of the sensors in the tire was not working.  No visual damage was found on the sensor but the customer was taken care of and had a new tire pressure sensor installed at no charge.on 10-12-15 customer returned after having another garage work on his vehicle stating that he had another wheel stud messed up.  we replaced another stud in the passenger rear no charge.  this customer has been taken care of in everyway possible.  they have had numerous issues that were not our fault but has been taken care of at no charge.  As far as the age of our employees our employees have to be at 18yrs of age or older. I think our business has gone above and beyond to take care of this customer and all customer's.  this is our second reply to this issue.
