On June 12th [redacted] purchased a set of Michelin tires from Big O Tires in Glasgow. Approx a week later, he returned complaining of a vibration in the tires. We rebalanced the tires but he returned on or about July 1, complaining that he was still feeling a vibration with the tires. We paid our competitor, Glagow Tire, to rebalance the tires with a "road balancer" which is a specialized type of equipment for cars that sit low to the ground. The customer drove the car for several weeks and didn't see an improvement in performance. He came back in to our store an we replaced the tires with a brand new set at no cost to Mr [redacted]. We are sorry that he felt the need to escalate this matter to the Revdex.com. We feel that we reacted timely to his complaint and resolved this matter to his satisfaction. This message is in response to a complaint filed by [redacted]. Mr [redacted] returned to our store last week. Our experienced and certified mechanic drove Mr [redacted]'s car. Mr [redacted]'s car is approx 15 years old. Mr. [redacted]'s expectation that a 15 year old vehicle will drive as smoothly as a brand new vehicle is unrealistic. We have already paid for a "road balance" on the vehicle and replaced the tires at our expense. Our mechanic has determined that there isn't anything wrong with the tires on Mr [redacted]'s car. Mr [redacted]'s demands of us are impractical based on the age of his vehicle. We have notified him that we are taking no further action on this matter.
