This is a fake company, we receive 3 checks prior to receiving one that went through bank only to have that check come back fraud right before machine was delivered.  How can we as small business owners protect ourselves from online companies like this?

reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  1. We are not a fake or online company, we can provide all our business license and tax id etc... if it's necessary. 
2. Machine wasn't delivered to us. The original plan was for us to pick up the machine, but there was no machine for us when our shipper arrives.
3.  "we receive 3 checks prior to receiving one that went through bank only to have that check come back fraud"--The fund went through, we can provide the fund clearance record from our bank.  3 checks prior to receiving one: 2 checks actually. The 1st one was supposed to go to our other vendor.  So we asked Advanced troubleshooters to destroy it.
