To whom it may concern.I, *** * *** Jr doing business as “Big Pete’s Automotive Repairs” am in possession of the documents in regards to a complaint filed against my business by *** *** with The Revdex.com and The Office Of Attorney
GeneralIn an effort to resolve this matter *** and myself have come to a settlement agreement in the amount of $U.S.DIn doing so I do not admit any intentional 'wrong doing or intent to deceit this or any other customerThis mutual agreement in an attempt to put this matter behind us and move forwardSpeaker box in question was removed from the vehicle while we removed the battery that is located in the truck of the vehicleWe replaced the old battery with a complimentary new Interstate battery, [n doing so, speaker box was set aside and forgotten about until I was contacted by the customerThere never was an attempt to keep the speaker box.....misunderstanding blown out of proportion in the heat of the moment The box was picked up by customer at my shop in currently in possession of the customer so we can assume this matter as well has been solve

Review: We had hire Pete the owner of Big Pete`s Automotive to do some work on our car, on his estimate Mr,Pete agree to charge us 1800.00 for the labor and it was paid to him in full with a debit card (we have the credit card statement to prove it) before the job was completed since we were in the process of relocating to Florida and the car was going to be shipped to Florida by Pete as soon as he was done (he said it would take him 3 weeks). Unfortunatly the car was not ship to us until 3 months later and that was after constantly contacting Mr, Pete and demand to know when would he be shipping us the car since the deal was he would ship it in 3 weeks. When the car arrived the first thing we noticed was the the music box was missing, when we asked Pete the owner at Big Pete`s he said he had it at his garage and he would send it to us and that has not being done. A week in a half later after the car arrived in Florida,My daughther was driving the car and it broke down we had to call a towing comp. and had it towed to a mechanic who stated that exactly the same parts that Mr,Pete suppostly fixed, (which we provided to him separtly from what he charge us to do the labor) were broken and needed to be fixed. When we contacted Big Petes and talked to the owner he said that the only thing he could do was reemburse us 900.00 and the music box he deliberatly took out of our car, he refused to provide me with receipts or any supporting documentation to prove he fixed the parts he would not answer the phone calls or text message.We are now on the process of seeking legal action against Big Petes for fraudulent and deceptive activity.We feel this bussiness has taken advantage of us because we paid him ahead of time and trusted them, and now Mr Pete refuses to handle this matter in a profesional amicable way. I make this complaint public hoping that Big Pete`s cant or wont scam any other person from their hard earned money.Desired Settlement: We feel that the correct thing to do would be for Big Pete`s to refund us for the funds he charged us to do the labor.Since there is no way that the same pieces that he claim he fixed broke down a week in a half later. We are hard working people and all this mess has caused us stress and loss of job, since that is our only method of transportation, a car is not a luxory its a necesity. We have been carless for all this time, and Mr Pete has not had the cortesy to resolve this matter.

In doing so I do not admit any intentional 'wrong doing or intent to deceit this or any other customer. This mutual agreement in an attempt to put this matter behind us and move forward. We replaced the old battery with a complimentary new Interstate battery, [n doing so, speaker box was set aside and forgotten about until I was contacted by the customer.
