In regards to this incident, the lady came into the shop asking for an oil changeOil change was doneCouple days later she came back stating that she had an oil leakEverything was check to find no oil leak but a transmission leak was certainOne of the screws were broken off in the transmissionAll of this was explained and shown to customer before touching the panShe wanted a transmission flush which was done but still had the same problem(Leaking from the screw) she asked if we could fix it but was told we could change the gasket, filter and trans fluid and put a new screw inside ( which was done) this was an occurring problem before touching the transmission(As she saw for herself) she was told that if it continues to leak she might need to take the vehicle to a transmission shop

My y/o daughter was looking for an inexpensive oil change for her [redacted] , as money is tight, so she took her car into this business location on the advice of a friend Instead of just giving her a simple $oil change, they pressured her into buying a $"engine flush" service They drained her oil, then added an unknown fluid to "get the rest of the old oil out" This is a rip-off and potentially harmful to the engine This is not the 1970's, when the quality of the oils available may have warranted doing this, and this "service" could very well have promoted damage to bearings or hard parts in her engine Upon calling the business to demand answers and a refund, the "manager" I spoke to was very rude and condescending If you value your car, do not take it to Big Ray's for ANY kind of service I would never in good conscience recommend this business to anyone Caveat Emptor!!!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11595723, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
The shop owner, or whomever responded is not telling the truth. I HAD NO LEAKS PRIOR TO COMING TO THEIR SHOP!!!!!! When I began to see leaks I returned with the car because the problem began at their shop and this is what was said repeatedly whenever I came there. I was not leaking any transmission fluid or any other fluids prior to coming there and if this is the case; I should have been told during the oil change or when I came for the flush to see a transmission shop. I had to have an auto mechanic repair the damage done to my transmission pan by over drilling the screws and putting in an improper gasket. The repairs were completed by *** *** in Roseville; and I have a copy of my receipt with corrections they made to my vehicle. One of the mechanics showed me a broken screw; this is transmission flush.
Regards,
*** ***
