IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT, IT AMAZES ME HOW A PERSON CAN WALK INTO A PLACE OF BUSINESS AND THINK THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. THIS MAN DID NOT IDENTIFY HIMSELF IN ANYWAY. HE STARTED OFF THE CONVERSATION WITH "WE HAD DONE HIS WINDSHIELD TWO YEARS AGO, HE CAME OUT TO HIS CAR AND...

HIS REVIEW MIRROR HAD FALLEN OFF TAKING A PIECE OF GLASS WITH IT, BREAKING THE WINDSHIELD, I DON'T HAVE MY RECEIPT, BUT YOU ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO KEEP IT FOR FIVE YEARS." I HAD STATED THAT I NO LONGER HAD IT IN MY COMPUTER, BUT HE NEVER GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO LOCATE THE HARD COPY. I AM WELL AWARE THAT I HAVE TO HAVE IT ON FILE. HE CONTINUED TO STATE NUMEROUS TIMES, "HOW I AM REQUIRED BY LAW TO KEEP IT." THAT IS WHEN I STATED "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE LAW BECAUSE WHATEVER THE PROBLEM IS, IT WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF." I THAN ASKED HIM TO SEE THE VEHICLE,IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT THE MIRRORS HAVE TO HAVE BEEN HIT IN ORDER TO BREAK OFF. WHICH HE DID NOT BRING THE VEHICLE TO OUR BUSINESS. I FEEL THAT HE DID NOT COME TO SOLVE A PROBLEM, BUT TO BE ONE. I CAN'T FIX SOMETHING I CAN'T SEE. HE HAS NO PROOF OF BEING A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER. THE WINDSHIELD COULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY SOMEONE ELSE BETWEEN THE TWO YEAR PERIOD. AT NO TIME DID I EVER LIE TO HIM IN ANY WAY. HE CLAIMS THAT HE KNOWS THE "INS AND OUTS OF THE AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS" THE WINDSHIELD BUSINESS IS CLEARLY DIFFERENT. AS I TRIED EXPLAINING TO HIM THERE IS NOT WARRANTY ON THE WINDSHIELD ITSELF. THE REASON BEING ANYBODY CAN BREAK THEIR WINDSHIELD AFTER IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED. SO IT DOESN'T MATTER THE TIME FRAME WE STILL WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING THE WINDSHIELD. NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED TO REASON WITH HIM. HE WOULDN'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING I HAD TO SAY. SO AFTER TELLING HIM IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF HE STORMED OUT. AND AS FOR THE COMMENT FROM RAY IF HE DIDN'T LIKE WHAT HE HAD HEARD HE SHOULD NOT HAVE LEFT MY OFFICE YELLING OUT IN THE PARKING LOT THAT I AM A LIAR. SO RAY HAD ASKED "WHO'S A LIAR?" THE MAN RESPONDED "SHE IS" RAY'S RESPONSE THEN WAS "KISS MY [redacted], YOU DON'T CALL SOMEONES WIFE A LIAR." RAY KNOWS I WOULD NOT LIE TO ANYONE ABOUT ANYTHING. RAY HAS BEEN DOING BUSINESS IN THE REDDING AREA FOR OVER 29 YEARS. WE HAVE A VERY REPUTABLE BUSINESS. I DON'T THINK ANYTHING WOULD HAVE SATISFIED HIM.

Thank-you [redacted] for the pictures,as I explained to the man when all this started we do not have any warrenty on any glass. he never brought the car by for us to look at.It was over two years ago. we will not be responsible for his windshield thank-you for our time.tina

Review: Major problems with Big Ray's Auto Glass customer service ! The office manager, a woman & Big Ray refused to warranty a font windshield that they installed middle of 2012. The rearview mirror had fallen off the windshield taking a chunk of inner glass with it, also cracking the windshield. After not being able to find our receipt, I went into the office to see how to remedy the situation. I Know a place of business keeps records of service for at least 5 years. When I asked the office woman if she could look at they're records, because we had lost our receipt, she told me they didn't keep records after 1 year. I informed her of the law about keeping records, and her reply was " DON'T GIVE ME THAT LAW [redacted]." I personally have family that works in the automotive business, who have shared with me the Ins & Outs of automotive windshields. I then proceeded to explain my knowledge to the office woman, who then told me I was an " [redacted]." At that point I knew it was time for me to leave. On my way out the door I informed the woman she was lying to me. Walking to my vehicle I was approached by Big Ray himself asking me, who was a lier ? And I told him the woman in the office was a lier. the next words out of his mouth was " [redacted] YOU." a that point I could not believe what had happened, or why.Desired Settlement: Cost to replace the windshield.
