Big Red Garcinia

I am always looking for a way to lose weight and fell for this scam, last month. The website very prominently said that I would get a 30-day supply of Garcinia for a shipping charge of $4.94. When I received my receipt, there were two more items added, for a total of $24.95. I immediately called and the customer service agent (CSA) removed the other two items. I had to threaten to cancel the entire order, in order for her to do that.

Today, I got my credit card bill to find a charge of $79.94. When I called, I got a CSA who had a very thick accent, who very smugly informed me that my order was ongoing unless I cancelled it within 30 days. I DID cancel in 30 days, but she still wanted to keep almost $80 that was unearned. It seems that I got stuck by not reading the "Terms & Conditions." By making the order, I agreed to subsequent automatic orders.

I hung up and called ***. They, very efficiently called the company, spoke to a manager (which is what I should have done) and the order was cancelled, refunded - except for the original $4.94, and we put it to bed. I can't say enough about how efficiently and quickly the CSA at *** handled it. They were wonderful!!!!!!!

However, this is a VERY slick organization. They don't direct you to a cart or check-out screen. Instead, they give you a screen that doesn't allow you to do anything but "continue." You don't know you have been baited and switched until you get your email receipt.

Moreover, they don't make it clear, that you are signing up for a continuing shipment. Frankly, they don't make a lot of things clear. I should have been more aware. However, that is over and done.

The bottom line is that the product didn't do a thing! I eat as much as I always have, even though I made a conscious effort not to, and didn't lose any weight. The only reason that I give the company a ONE star rating, is because of the way the manager handled the call when *** called them. Otherwise, they would have gotten a ONE because there is nothing lower than that on the rating scale.

This company has charged my debit card 6 times AFTER I called to cancel. It is NOT a free trial. I have called the number on my bank statement to get resolution but even after receiving a cancellation email I continue to get charged. I have filed two claims with my bank to try and stop the charges but they continue to come in from a different company names. I am cancelling my debit card and having the bank reissue me a new card to stop the charges from this dishonest company.

I returned the product and told me I would receive refund 4 to 8 wks ! They are now telling me they didn't receive in time therefore they will not refund my Money of which is part of a fixed income. I don't understand if they received the product back !! should I not receive a refund? I argued w the lady . I have a tracking form if I can find it but they should return my money regardless!!

I was charged $69.97 instead of $4.95 for shipping. Purchase XXXXXXXX XXXXXXon 11/06/17.
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX I paid $67.97 on 11/06/17. I was only supposed to pay $4.95. This extra money paid should be paid back to me. I Paid with my visa checking debit card on line and did not agree to the extra charges.
